| Hi to everybody! I've installed and played Final CE in the last days, but I'm stuck in the museum basement. I'm playing a Ventrue, and I chose to do this part without turning off cameras (low hacking feat). I picked up the passcode for the door in one office, the Fetish Statue for Pisha and the Museum Workroom Key in the other two rooms. After ignoring the laser alarm, I arrived to the door but I couldn't open it. It seems the game doesn't recognise I have the key (I guess that by the symbol appearing on the door while I try to open it). I've reload the game different times, also changing the order of the actions...the unique item I miss is the Museum Office Key (I usually use lockpicking feat for that door). Has someone undergone the same issue? Thanks in advance and sorry for my English, Francesco | |

| Are you sure you have to have a key? If memory serves, the door is opened by a code? You mean the room with lines on the floor, right?
EDIT: Ah, welcome to the forum, youngblood! Sorry I missed it was your first post! I hope you stick around.

| Thanks!
I can open the door that requires the passcode, but not the last, the one (after the laser alarm) which requires the card you found in one of the rooms.

| The door you're talking about is open unless you trigger the laser alarm. There are two ways of dealing with the problem if you don't deactivate the cameras: -hit the switchbox between the door to the corridor and the first laser ray with any weapon. Then the lasers run erratically and you can sneak through. - if you can't manage to sneak through without triggering the alarm, there is a guard around the corner who has the key. He drops it when you use Dominate or Dementation 1 on him, or if you kill him. - | |

| Thank you, I've been misguided because until the last days I've played only the vanilla game (with the last unofficial patch) and you can open the door in any case. XD
About the last patch...do you think there'll be a new camarilla version/patch that includes the last vanilla one?

| There won't be any new Camarilla version. I'm more or less ambitiously working on a completely new project. That will include the bugfixes and quite a lot of the other content from the 9.0 plus patch, and of course many of the things from Camarilla. But not the changed disciplines. After this I won't upgrade to new versions of Wesps patch. I'd like to get the first version out for the 10th anniversary, but I really don't know if I will be ready for that. - | |

- Very interested about that...are there any informations or is it "top secret"? Another question, sorry for bothering you...in the death mask studios I've lost 3 point of humanity, but I've kill no mortal there...they were all killed by tzimisce monsters...how could I avoid that? I've lost another point before, after the death of Hannah...is there something wrong with NPC dying while you are around? Thx

| You got Humanity Loss when she died or when you stole the money from the safe?
When your character is low on Humanity (3 or less) mortal killed around excites the Beast so much it drags the character even further from being human.

| In the case of Hannah I lose Humanity when I open the safe (using the key), but in Death Mask Studios I only kill tzimisce monsters... :S | |

| Stealing from dying person is an inhumane act, hence Humanity Loss.
Has it lowered you to 3 or lover? If so, then any civilian death in vicinity excites the Beast and drops it lower. Downward spiral...

That doesn't make sense. After she's dead, she won't need her stuff anymore so I might as well put it too good use.

| Hm, I don't know what happened at DeathMask. In CE stealing Hannah's money costs humanity, but only for high-humanity characters (at least 6 or 8, I'm not sure right now) @Feral: humanity loss for witnessing deaths is TFN only. But in CE, there are several situations where humanity-gain or -loss is dependent on your current humanity. - | |
