| Kind greetings, one and all. I just had a quick question concerning firearms in VtMB. I know how to change the damage output and ammunition capacity of weapons, but I haven't figured out how to change the maximim ammount of ammo for a weapon that can carried by the PC. If anyone could help shed some light over this, I would be most grateful. | |

| Hmmm, you know I'm not sure either. You setup the ammo capacity for weapons in the \items\ folder for the weapon itself, but maximum carrying capacity for PCs I'm not sure. If I run into how to do it I'll let ya know. | |

| Hi, I know this comes a bit late, but i just stumbled over it when i set up my UP 6.9. In the \vampire\cfg subdirectory is a file called skill1.cfg You can open it with a simple text editor. There is a block weapons with entries like this one: sk_plr_dmg_anaconda_round "8" sk_npc_dmg_anaconda_round "2" sk_max_anaconda_round "198" The last line is the amount of spare ammo you can carry for this weapon. So you should use a multiple of the weapon's capacity. - | |

| Thank you, that worked perfectly! The thing was, I had changed the Spas 15 to the M16 from the Arsenal mod, but I could still only carry 54 bullets besides those in the magazine. Now I've changed it to 150, which makes the weapon worthwhile to have. Again, ta very much, old chap, ta very much indeed! | |

| So my reply was not so much too late. I knew i had seen something about max ammo and that it was easily accessible. But who looks into the config directory after the game is set up? Have fun with your new gun, but don't blast too many bullet holes in the wallpaper | |
