How to save Zhao
In case you didn't know, it is possible to save Zhao when you are ambushed by the Tong. Just grab some cardboard boxes and places in front of his window: they will soak some bullets; though Zhao will try to and fire them as well!
At least, there's plenty of boxes. Take your time.

Now, when the fight begins, you will be probably behind Zhao. If someone goes to the left, which you couldn't protect, KILL HIM if you are ranged; if you are not, calmly pick up one of the three cabinets on the corner and place it to block bullets. Use the remaining two on the front window, where most bullets will come from.

If you are a ranged fighter and has the Remington, it's too easy. I won't even guide you. But if you are a melee fighter, Fortitude is your best friend!
