New Ankhs, Yay or Nay?!?

Do you guys like my new ankhs for the website? Yay? -OR- Nay?

Blargh I'm having a new look bias, something I think is unnecessary and like what I'm used to but that wouldn't ultimately hamper me much once I got used to them; I donno what to vote!

Just say you love them to make me happy, then I'll be happy and want to kiss you and that's ALWAYS a good thing!

The colors confuse me. I don't know what is what. I liked the old yellow for "new stuff". But I'll wait a week before voting. I want to give the new icons a chance.

Change is always horrible until you get used to it. Artistically I don't think it's bad.

Just remember...

BLUE

means New!

I think that's a bit of an issue. for new posts you should use a color that draws attention, while blue is nice and relaxing. Yellow would've been better. Or any other bright color.

While I agree with Drag, I have a singular complaint about them: too big. The circle, I mean.
Also, Blue? I see green and purple. Maybe it is time to go get checked again.

It's the same size as the last icons, 60x60 dude!

Anyone color blind please? To say "we need actual referecing icons"

I don't doubt you, this one just has more visual 'weight' than the old ones. Had you not made this post, I never would have mentioned anything. I was already past the "Huh, that's new." phase when I saw this poll.

Oh, and I took out purple so nobody thinks I'm dating Feral.

I can live with the symbols, but I'm confused with the color scheme.
Leave the different colors for announcements and sticky out, then I say yes, else it's NOOOO!!!!

Blue for locked? What kind of color scheme is that?

Well, almost everyone of us have been kissed once. Depending on who you may ask, it ended up well or not well enough.. =)

But yeah, I liked the old icons. They weren't quite as much ... in your face, I guess? The new ones seem to stand out weirdly. Maybe it's just me.

Edit: I found out what bugs me so much! The old ones were nicely, snugly fitting squares, and the new ones are circles which don't fit as perfectly. Yes, I have a very specific (persnickety) sense of aesthetic, thank you very much.

So please, make them round or replace with the old ones.

I don't think it's that bad. I'm actually liking it. As long as new posts are yellow, it's okay with me.

OK i guess... But why global announcements do not show new posts?

I think they are a little large. The dimensions may be the same compared to the old one, but the new ones feel larger.
That aside, I do like the look of them after getting a bit used to em.

Well, let's give it a week to see what people think. Generally change is frowned upon but I've really wanted to shake things up lately.

I agree, yellow looks a lot better for new messages!
