I've noticed a strange graphical occurrence involving clothing.
When there is a cut-scene and some of the NPCs are walking around, their clothes will go flying in crazy directions, as if the wind has caught their coats, dresses, etc and is whipping them about. I have even seen it when my own characters goes into a cut-scene (i.e., releasing Carson from Gimble's dungeon).
I used a clean install of the game and then only installed the CE v1.2. Has anyone else experienced this issue or is there a way to prevent this? I'm not sure if it matters but please also note that I have used the ResPatch.exe to patch the screen resolution for 16:10.

WOW, so its like windy porn kind've? Lucky, I wish I had your copy of the game LOL.
I've never seen that happen before, thats weird, wonder if it has to do with the 16:10 format, have you tried 4:3?

I know there are some issues with clothes. If your charater is wearing long cloaks or the long skirt of the female Tremere, some funny things can happen when you crouch. As far as I know, it's a problem of the early version of the game engine and can't be helped. You probably got similar effects in your cutscenes. I also use the 16:10 resolution patch, so this may explain matters if Zer0 using 4:3 doesn't encounter this.

I appreciate the input from both of you. I re-patched back to 4:3 and ran through some scenes again. It seems the effect is lessened somewhat but still happens. Do either of you know another way to patch the game to widescreen resolutions, other than the ResPatch.exe?

Same here, Respatch.exe is the only method I know of too. Any way you can take screenshots using the pause button we implemented in 1.2? By default pause is "G".

I think I can do better than a screenshot. I've included small clip from a scene in the Prince's office. Pay attention to Max's coat as this is but a small example of the occurrences I've seen, across numerous NPCs.

Did this happen before using any patches?
As far as I know it's just part and parcel of how that particular engine deals with fluid materials. As it is, the only way to iron something like that out would probably involve altering the model itself beyond deforming to make sure it acts more sleek instead of jolty.

To be honest it's been quite a while since I played through and I really can't remember if it occurred that badly before. I came back to play again since I discovered the CE v1.2 so...here we are.
