Clothing/Armor missing

I downloaded and installed the 1.6 CE Final version, yet I can not find the armor anywhere, from vendors as options or drops.

Also, when I use console command it says it gives it to me but it does not actually show up in my inventory.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I am running the Steam Download version, if that info helps at all.

I have gone through as Ventrue and Brujah and no Armor ever showed up as a drop or for purchase.

You turned off Steam Autoupdate, right?

That sounds like some files got messed up somehow, either during installation or an automatic steam update. I'd recommend a total wipe of the game and a reinstallation, then move that installation over to a new directory so it's not attached to steam anymore, then installing CE Final on top of that and nothing else.
