Stuck at start

Played TFN 1.1 ages ago (and loved it) and game back for a look and noticed 1.3 was out.

I grabbed the 1.2 update, 1.3 update and 1.3 hotfix and applied them all.

Game starts fine, but I am stuck in the beginning back ally, with a locked door and a green whirling cloud. Whether I click or unclick the skip intro makes no difference, its skipped and I am left with the above scenario with nothing to do. Am I having a shocker and missing something, or have a messed up somewhere in the installation?

Try reinstalling.

Sounds like a problem with the installation. Don't install 1.2 next time. 1.3 is a full version.

Didn't really want to download full 1.3 (if I didn't have to-I pay quite a bit for internet- 1 gig would cost me $10)

Anyway, reinstalled from scratch, and did exactly the same thing, and now its working-go figure.

Try to install one update at the time and see if it works, then proceed to the next. Maybe it is just a damaged download
