No, vamputil.py isn't crucial. Fish don't need gills either.

Just read the fucking manual... Seriously.
Merging mods is not possible just like that. Cqm is a huge exception an they include CE 1.4 because BG01 began working on it long before CE 1.5 was out

Okay then, take CE1.5 and CQM, and you create the .exe that install CQM with CE1.5.
(Of course I was only speaking about Bloodlines mods, other games may be easier to work in. If you're so smart, why don't YOU rework the engine, write to WW, get the rights and stuff ?)

i think we need to get together (the CE and CQM) and fuse Ce 1.5 with CQM 3.0 cuz i dont like how CQM automatically puts in the AM and HM
I think you have not read BG01's instructions on how to install his mod...

i unselected the 7.8 plus and the first thing i see when i start a game is that it is still 7.8 plus i unchecked the histories mod, and it still overwritten the CE histories

UP is mandatory in CQM..
Are you sure you installed it correctly in the right folder ? Have you installed over a naked version of the game, and not "over" some other mods ?

ok i figured out that its automatically UP 7.8 plus
so my new question is if i select CQM 3.0 and CE 1.4 (not the AM or HM) would it be the same as playing CE but with the CQM quest?

CE is automatically plus patch. So if you install cqm with CE, you will get plus patch, no matter what you select.

It seems very hard to read the manual and to read the installation process instead of just clicking "next" <_<

I believe "the second" means "the moment", which if correct, would be the same as me.
