| So not only get the Tremere a ridiculous clan flaw and freakin' discipline combo, one of their clan disciplines comes at reduced cost. | |

| Yes, Thauamturgy is essentially many disciplines in one, where you pay full price for the first one and only 4x current rating XP for all the others.
You may think it's unfair, but clan Tremere actually needs all the goodies just to survive. The Tzimisce, the Assamites, the Salubri anti-tribu and the Order of Hermes (note that of all the mages this are the ones who are best at blowing things up with fireballs) all want them dead and even their "allies" in the Camariila don't trust them (at least if they are smart).
And if you go anti-tribu, you can add clan Tremere to the list of those that want you dead. So yeah, enjoy having "no weakness".

I'm going to throw my 2cnts here ; one doesn't just learn other paths and rituals of thaumaturgy just like that. A good ST will only give access to what the Regent wants to, and like good old universitarians who are scared of new students, they'll restrict the knowledge as much as they can. The weakness of clan Tremere is "in game" more than "mechanical"
