At least I could spit foam and bite carpets in Yiddish... However little of it I picked up from my grandma. Yiddish, not the German stuff. And before you ask, students are to blame. Students are the root of all evil...

Actually, it means that the joke was made for a select audience. It does not, however, make it better or worse.
Also, why saying "G*d" instead of God? Are you afraid of being smitten by yours because of such "blasphemy"?

The Bible does say "don't take the lord's name in vain", but isn't God more of his title while his actual name is "Yahweh" or a variation of the spelling thereof? Feral?

Actually, it is JHVE written in Hebrew. As it is forbidden to say it aloud, it is substituted by Adonai, which means Lord. Which is a title. But the previous one is actually a name, or a byname (sobriquet) as some Rabbis would argue. You see, knowing a name of a being gives you a measure of control over said being. Humans could not and should not attempt to control G*d.

I do not bite carpets of coufse. We have tiles. But I sometimes foam at particularily dense students.

Righto, and "God" is the word to describe a divine entity with control over one or more fabrics of reality (and sometimes beyond); thus he's referred to as "God" to note him as "THE God" aka the biggest and/or most legit deity around, but it also isn't his actual name, that would be JHVE as you said. Semantically speaking, quite so, even if you dress it in rather pantheistic or a bit polytheistic terms. It is sort of a title, yes.

One's gotta think what's behind the scenes when after so many strong words and promises the US doesn't change after Trump.

Assad may still have some stashed away, but he'd have to be really stupid to use them. From what I've read he stockpiled chemical weapons because he wasn't allowed to have nukes but he wanted to have a deterrent against Israel.
