| No vampires this time. Only ghouls.
Returns, Dragonfall, HongKong. Anybody?

| I was quite surprised by how good the game was, and was also annoyed that you couldn't go back to locations you've previously visited to hack the safe and stuff like that. Kinda weird seeing an RPG so straightforward (since you basically have no side quests), good, but weird. Makes it shorter, which is sometimes better.
I completed about 1/3rd of Returns in one sitting, will get back to it once I finish Pillars of Eternity.

| That may take a while I like it a lot, it's more story driven, thus, a lot of linearity. Don't mind you cannot revisit old places ("Hey, I just crushed into your server room yesterday and left my wallet there, do you mind ..?") Plenty of your choices matter, though, and affect the end of the game. | |

| Just finished Hong Kong (and Dragonfall and Returns), and I have to say.. Fuck your face Philo. Also Dragonfall was the best of the three, but Hong Kong is pretty good too when it wants to work. | |

| I don't disagree, even about Philo.
I don't remember Dragonfall to be buggy. HK on the other hand, I stopped playing playing the first time. #triggered. Right now I'm before the point of no return. One thing about HK, it allows for the lovely full Glory build.

| Dragonfall isn't buggy (generally) and hence why it's the best of the three, though I liked the story a wee bit more too. Hong Kong had me ragequit the first time cuz I couldn't progress, but the steam workshop had a workaround so I could finish it; no bonus campaign that way but hey. Sufficed to say, if anybody wanna get in on the Shadowrun universe/games then I'd recommend Dragonfall first. | |

| I'd recommend 'SR Returns' first. Two reasons: It did take my breath away story is just great, gameplay's just fine; and you would not want to return to it from DF, which is perfected. And it'd be a shame to miss it. | |

| Dragonfall pro: Better game and a great entry into the series. Dragonfall con: Makes the others seem worse by quality comparison.
Both are subjective, take it for what you will.

| What I hate about Dragonfall is the Matrix. The blocker IC minigame is just annoying and ridiculous, and evading the watcher IC has nothiong to do with your character's decking skill. So I have already removed all blocker IC from the maps, but until I can find a way to deal with the watchers without making the Matrix completely boring I have dumped the game. | |

Certainly it is. That's why the supply is limited. - Quote :

Dunno what you did, but I would use extra protection while getting it on with a Ravnos. Also, were I you, I would have checked if any jewels weren't missing afterwards... Overally a bad idea, it seems. Wait, did I just advocate against gay sex...? What is this world coming to...

Certainly it is. That's why the supply is limited. Out of seven billion people on this earth, I'd hardly call that "limited". :3

| What ancients? Don't you go believing those rumors again. The "ancients" are just legends, scary coffin-time stories to keep the fledglings in line. | |

What you're talking about? The fact that I stay in the coffin most nights doesn't mean I don't exist...

What you're talking about? The fact that I stay in the coffin most nights doesn't mean I don't exist... Maybe it is an illusion? The voices just keep telling you that you exist?

| Interesting philosophical question. Does hearing the voices imply my existence or not? | |
