| Slovenia is on the border of the Balkans. Geographically the southern part is Balkans and the northern one isn't. Culturally we differ from out southern brothers because we spent 1000 years being ruled by Germans and it rubbed off a little (though we also developed a servant mentality, due to not having any nobility of our own). Catholicism is the most prevalent religion, at least officially. But I'm not Catholic myself. | |

| Yeah, there is still a industrial band called Laibach to celebrate old times in Habsburg Ljubljana... Austrians are not Germans by the way. Blood of my Prussian ancestors boils at such a blasphemy! Not the one of Austrian ones, though.  Yeah, I get it with the servant mentality, we got the same here, mostly in previous Russian partition. Well, you are still the best governed part of old Yugoslavia, even I got to like Croats when I went to holidays to Trogir. They are almost like Poles and even we could sort of understand each other.
