I see multiple Iris on 1 eye

Hey guys first of all i really liked the mod. Congratulations for the ones who prepared this mod. But i have a problem recently. Yesterday i was playing so nice with minor bugs but today when i opened the game i talked to someone and i realized that the guy has two iris in one eye after that i tried to talk another people it was the same..then i uninstalled the mod game everything including the save games. and i reinstalled with the 1.2 patch but still the same :S..This wasn't happening before why now? I started a new game after all deleting and reinstalling but it was the same whats the problem anyone can help??

by the way i installed the mod with CQM 2.0 installer.

I have encountered that same problem before and (in my case) it had to do with a separate "eye mod" that I applied and it seems to screw things up. After I removed the addition, the problem resolved itself.

Perhaps someone more well-versed that I can come up with a better explanation, but that's my take on it.

Archon would be correct on that, the multiple iris issue happens when someone tries to create a custom eye and does it improperly. I don't know where you got the eye mod but it's not one CE uses, so you had to of gotten it elsewhere from another source.

My suggestion would be to go into the \Vampire\materials\models\character\pc\male\tremere folder and delete the eyeball_l.vmt and eyeball_r.vmt files taking them back to default. That will clear up the eye issue for the Tremere model. You will have to do this for any model that uses that messed up eye graphic.

Hmmm, well I'm not sure what to tell you then, other than try my suggestion and go back to the original eyes by deleting the .vmt files, can't go wrong with vanilla.

I tried it but it didnt work me i guess i should download the camarilla edition seperately from clan quest mod 2.0 installer..

Sorry to hear that, something else must be interferring with your game. I've never been a big fan of the bastardized version of CE that lies within the CQM installer but thats probably because I like things clean and organized. I just feel all those other mods taint our beautiful product!

Zer0 today i realized that i uninstalled the game and got a fresh copy of VTMB without 1.2 patch.. And tried it if its because of the mod or something else.. But i saw that it wasnt because of the mod or something its because of the game itself..somehow the game files are crashed I dont know what to do.. Next time when i install the game itself i will download the CE:1.3 only.. And by the way i saw a new mod named VTMB2010..its completely bastardized as you said..Crap i really dont understand why they are changing the mods..If they want that every mod is played together.. then they should just make them compatible nothing more..And i guess your permission was never sought at all..Whatever zer0 thanx for the help again but i guess i should really something else

Yes, we are aware of that "thing" . I told him explicitly to stop calling it CE, and I refuse to even look into his topic on PV.
I don't talk about, or support this thing. So please do me a favor: Don't mention it again

If vanilla bloodlines is still messing with the eyes after a clean install then the old files are still in there somehow. I would recommend uninstalling Bloodlines again, then go into C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\, or whatever folder your Vampire game is in and manually delete the rest. That will ensure you got rid of the game and any mods.

Reinstall vanilla Bloodlines and before applying any patches, and if you did it right, the eyes should look fine. I can garauntee Troika did not release vanilla Bloodlines with funky irises.

Hey zer0 i tried it i uninstalled everything, everything including the registry files..i even used a program to uninstall..after that i installed the game again it was Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 1.0..i checked if its still multiple iris and yes it was..I still dont understand whats wrong.. By the way my OS is Windows Vista and i am using Vista Basic Theme for the theme of my computer i wonder if that is related or something =(..Pff

If you have 64-bit Vista (which I do), look for the following folder (you'll have to enable "Show hidden files and folders" to see and get into the "AppData" folder; if you need help doing that, just ask; also, this assumes the drive letter of the Windows install drive is C:):

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision

If you have the 32-bit version, it's probably C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision

Delete the Activision folder and then do another clean install. If that doesn't work, then something is really wacky.

I'd say try what Munster said, other than that I don't know where your files are stored and why they are sticking around like that. I have the retail CDs and none of the irises are an issue in Bloodlines 1.0.

I use the european DVD version (with the official 1.2 patch preinstalled), and never had any "eye problems", no matter which patch/mod I tried.

I play with the American CD, which doesn't have the patch 1.2 pre-installed, on about 5 different PC (xp, vista, seven, millenium...) and never had this before either...

Guys thanks for all your helps =)..Finally i fixed the problem.Actually i have understood why the problem occured..i did Overclock on my video card and something went wrong that day i thought it could be the problem..and today i have formatted the PC now everything works fine..Again thanx for everybody who tried to help me..I cant wait till new versions will be announced..
