| Hey,
I must have seen a particular mod or a feature in one of the bigger ones that brings sophistication (the dynamic crosshair) into 3rd person ranged combat. Has it in fact been done? Has CE incorporated it? Perhaps you could point me in the right direction. | |

I've never heard of such a mod, by the way, or I would point you in the right direction. | |

| Can't you just zoom out after loading the weapon?
It's what I usually do... in vanilla... | |

| It's supposed to put the first person crosshair (the one that displays bullet stray possibilities) into third person view.
Generally, I switch to third person once the weapon is drawn, but it makes difficult for sharpshooting or if character's ranged feat isn't that crispy.
Maybe this should go into ideas subforum then? Huh? | |

| Hmm...never have tried Ranged combat in 3dr person...I like the FPS aspect, as it feels more like I'm looking out my characters eyes instead of watching events unfold from above. Just me I guess | |

- Exactly my problem. I find VTMB too far from conventional FPS's in regards of movement therefore my preference is the 3rd person view in all aspects of the game. I wouldn't mind sniping either, much like it was in Mass Effect. So what's your say, Childe of Malkav? Mind to look in the matter? | |

| Hm, I don't want to make promises I can't keep. For now, I have to get CE 1.4 ready for release. And then I'll probably have a lot of scripting to do for TFN. I really don't know yet, if and when I'll start work on the next version. But I will try to remember tihis and look into it. - | |
