TFN Open Beta Sign Up (Register Here)

Alright Kiddies, It's FINALLY Here!! The moment we've ALL been waiting for! VTM: The Final Nights Version 1.0 BETA release!!!!

Here is how it's going to work. First you will want to send Zer0Morph a Private Message letting me know that you want to partake in the Beta Testing process. Then we will make sure you have met all of the requirements and if you have, then you will be approved. On Halloween, October 31st you will be sent a Private Message with the download location and the file password needed to install it. The file itself will not come in a pretty installer but a simple .zip file that will need to be extracted on a clean copy of basic Bloodlines.

From there we simply ask that you play the game like you normally would reporting all bugs, inconsistancies, errors, suggestions, and ideas in the TFN Beta section of TCI. With the TCI community playing the Beta version for 2 months we feel we should be able to correct many gaming issues that we otherwise might have missed and hopefully incorporate new exciting ideas that we didn't think of.

As you probably already know, TFN is being built upon the CE 1.2 mod but incorporates 7 brand new clans never seen before in Bloodlines. We have dedicated the past 9 months to bring you this new and exciting Bloodlines experience and are proud as hell to finally get to release it. With that said, let's move on to the requirements.

Requirements for BETA Testing
1. You must be a TCI forum member.
2. You must be a Neonate or higher ranking.
3. You must have been a TCI member as of Sept. 30th 2010 or earlier.
4. You must be a member in good standing.

Rules for BETA Testing
1. You must not give out the download location to anyone, even other TCI forum members.
2. You must not give out the file password to anyone, even other TCI forum members.
3. You must not redistribute TFN BETA to anyone for any reason.

What we do ask of you while testing
1. Please report all bugs in the TFN Beta Testing section. This is for the good of the community because the more bugs we find now, the more professional the game will be upon the public Christmas release.
2. We really want to hear feedback both positive and negative. You won't hurt our feelings if you don't like a certain aspect of TFN and we really appreciate ideas and suggestions to improve the game.
3. Have FUN playing it!!! Though testing should be taken serious we still want the process to be fun! Isn't that why we're all doing this?!?

If you have met all of the requirements and agree to follow the rules then you are more than welcome to participate in this event. If you are just now hearing about TFN but missed the deadline or requirements, we apologize and hope you will stick around to read the comments made by the testers and look forward to the Christmas release.

Installation Notes: Installing should be relatively easy as I plan on packaging TFN Beta in a simple password protected .zip file. You will obviously want a fresh copy of Bloodlines as your base void of any patches or mods what so ever (including Official Patch 1.2). You will want to open up the .zip file, extract the contents to a designated folder (preferably on your desktop), then move those into your \Vampire - Bloodlines directory.

You should be prompted to overwrite hundreds of files and if you aren't, then you are most likely moving the TFN files to the wrong folder. Try going up or down 1 folder until you're prompted to overwrite. Once the basic game files are overwritten then it's time to PLAY!!!!

Don't be shocked by the new Main Menu or the music that goes with it. TFN will feel like a whole new game (Bloodlines 2).

Not quite neonate yet but I'll put my name down anyway, hopefully I'll have acquired the neonate title by release.

Actually I was wondering if you could take over TFN while I start my new mod VTMB: The Final Camarilla Edition. What do you say? Can I pawn off my work on you again? LOL

what will vtmb TFCE include? just bug fixed complete working CE?^^ or some new things like weaps, areas, disciplines?^^
