Bug Report by Shabu

Well i noticed 2 bugs while goin through the Hallowbrook Hotel:
First: i could use my melee weapon while in Protean lvl 5. i had melee weapon drawn and used Protean lvl 5, clicked left button and voila Beastform with Katana in my hand

Second: using Song of Serenity while Andrei is just about to dive into the blood will freeze him and u cant kill him anymore.. u can just walk through him or shoot through etc..

I would have to play around with the Protean claws for this one, actually we're having the same problem with TFN's Apep's Semblance form too where you have to manually bring the claws up otherwise he has no weapon. If you hot key it then it's ok but I'd like for the model to automatically switch to the claws and make all other weapons disappear.

For the second issue, with Song of Serenity, that I know I can fix pretty easy.

ok, thats good to hear^^ cuz it is not funny to run with katana and str bonus from protean 4... so much damage
and btw, can u higher the maximum unarmed ability? cuz i have 8 w/o buffs, and with protean 5 and bloodbuff etc. i cant succed the 20 points limit.. i would have like 23 or 24 i guess ^^

The case of max unarmed has been answered in another topic, i believe. The limit is 20. else a vamp gets far too overpowered. Unless a very dificult boss was added to the game, there is no reason to surpass 20, you can defeat probably anything with it.

From a technical standpoint any number is possible, though I think Philosopher is right about it being overpowered. In fact the vanilla game capped it at 10, and I was the one who raised it to 20 because I never thought anyone would get that high... apparently you proved me wrong.

well as you maybe know i am someone who seeks ultimate power^^ yes, i can defeat every boss, but i lust for more power.. thats a big problem of me^^ and adding a stronger boss is out of question cuz of other clans not being able to get that high.. well i just thought a powerbuild would be rewarded with more power while being more fragile etc. ^^

You can get up to 25-29 with Gangrel, if you enrage. And since gangrels have "Unleash the beast within" it's easy for them.Shabu, Gangrel have fortitude, so "beign more fragile" is pretty hard for them :PI know, you want the pleasure of killing the sheriff with one hit, but believe me, the game gets pretty boring if you can do that, even if its fun for like two minutes or so.

well i have only protean 5, animalism 3 and bloodheal 3, rest is 1.. i dont use fortitude at all cuz i play(ed) a "glass cannon" char (really liked the red 58-60 scrolling over the heads of my enemies^^ but i was dead as fast as i kill them )and i had brawl at 3, used my disciplines and next time i had brawl 5 and still same.. so dunno about free the beast within cuz i spend the points in other things cuz i didn't know it was possible to protean and free the beast ^^ if thats really possible i have to play gangrel again now with a stronger glass cannon^^
