| I noticed that the gangs aren't fighting anymore in Downtown L.A.. Did you get tired of the senseless violence? I always rooted for the cholos. The red-jacket guys remind me too much of the 'Jets' from Westside Story. Wimps. Plus, the one doing graffiti close to Strauss' chantry always respawned after being killed, which I felt gave his gang too much of an advantage against the vatos. Sometimes, when I'd see them headed for each other, I'd use 'Trance' or 'Hysteria' against the red guy, to even the odds. (Hey, it didn't break the Masquerade, okay?) Another nice bonus were the knives and revolvers that the dead gang members were always dropping. I made a few extra bucks from selling them to Larry. That's really why you took out the violence, isn't it? | |

| Well there's actually a good reason for this. You see when I made the feature that allows your Humanity to drop below 3 for murdering anyone, this posed a problem for the gang members. The source engine can't distinguish the difference between YOU killing the gang members and other gang members killing each other. For instance, I would be walking down the street when all of the sudden my Humanity would drop by 1... I was like WTF?!?! That's when I realized my Humanity was falling because the gang members were killing each other. Obviously that's not cool, so I spoke with the Jets and the Sharks and they made peace with each specifically for...... The Final Nights!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! | |

| That's funny! I can imagine just how confused I would be in that case. " What!! But I didn't kill anybody!" Then I'd be looking around for the body. I should've known you wouldn't take out entertainment like that without a good reason. (I teaased you about it, but I knew robbing the players of a few dollars couldn't be the reason.) | |

| Oh hell no, I wouldn't take out something that cool unless I was forced. I just couldn't see how a couple gang members killing each other would trump murder reducing humanity past 3. I felt we paid a small price for a huge return.
I mean technically I could remove the script from the gang members and return them back to killing each other but then the character would be free to murder them without a penalty. I know their gang members but cold killing should still net a humanity loss, in my opinion. | |

| No problem. It just illustrates something you've said before... change one thing in this game, and it affects half a dozen other things. | |
