Yep ! It's for stuff you'll eventually learn by discussion or idle listening, for when you socialize. In the main topic, stuff happens which is campaign related. In the idle topic, not, but it's what one could witness in a few hours of Elysium which is purely idle (after all the presentation night lasted a few hours but in game by reading it it barely lasted a couple of hours.. Time things and what not)

The valiant Spaceman Spiff would be exploring new worlds, when suddenly the horrifying big-mouthed monster (i.e. his teacher) would rear its ugly head, and threaten to devour him.
