Besides, any kitty that a Tzimisce revives is going to have something wrong with it; like the pets in "Pet Sematary" (Stephen King novel/movie) Hair falling out, taste for raw meat/blood, etc. Not a pretty kitty.

In a lot of Gehenna scenarios the Eldest is like the "Final boss". In an opitional ending, he can only be destroyed when ALL of his blood offspring has been destroyed.

This means that, in order to destroy him, you must kill:
All Tzimisce around the globe
All Tremere around the globe
All who diablerized one Tzim or Tremere even once
All bloodlines of Tzimisce and Tremere
All ghouls, childer and blood bounded by the four groups above

Moral of the story
Tzimisce is just better than you mothafocka

No spoiler necessary. What's underneath New York is not technically an Antediluvian; it is an Antediluvian's disease (Vicissitude) run amuck. There is evidence elsewhere in the White Wolf canon that the Tzimisce clan founder is somewhere else. It's like anything else in the World of Darkness: "This is what your clan/sect/faction believes; but it may not necessarily be the whole truth." This disclaimer seems to be in almost every game supplement that White Wolf released.

Besides -- I take all of the 'Final Nights' stuff with a very big grain of salt. I never liked that storyline. In the games I've run, Gehenna is not a fact, but a myth -- just as it should be. The Final Nights storyline was White Wolf's last attempt to milk money out of their customers before they switched to the Vampire: the Requiem setting. They wanted the V:tM game world to end, so players would buy the V:tR game.
