Cats the Masquerade is a RPG of humouristic Scifi which states that humans are not the only intelligent race on earth. It's not alone, but it's also not the first. Before the Man was the Cat.

This RPG wants itself to be simple. Only 15 pages of rules or so. Each character is defined by eight characteristic (4 physical and 4 mental), ranked between 1 and 5. Skills are deducted from these values and finish off the character. (lots of stuff on rules). The player either plays a cat, a human, or a baster (which is a cat trapped in a human's body).

In the universe of Cats, cats have developped a secret society, mentalist, and have dominion over the world from behind the scenes. To protect theselves, they've thrown a veil on reality to hide the truth to humans, hiding themselves as pets for humans. Actually, it's crucial not to let humans know they are only the results of a genetical experiment, whose goal is to make them loyal servants. Legends and myths like the great Flood and the Atlantide are just a deformed reflexion on what was the true story. Sadly (for cats), man has evolved. They have become intelligents and they obtained technology. And now the cats paradise has become hell.

The whole website is also all about the masquerade and how it shouldn't be broken, but everyone plays in different rules, and the main rule of "no witnesses, no bloodhunt" applies XD

Then why would they allow spaying and neutering, if they control the world behind the scenes?

Somehow I can't happen to wonder if Griffin' doesn't secretly hope everyone stays and right as we sleep he'll have a ghoul ritually sacrifice 4 vampires for some evil plot device ritual.

Somehow I don't see Griffin as the slumber party type. He's more the, 'Pardon me; do you have any Grey Poupon?' type.

Duncan's hair is too short to braid. You could put gel in it, but then he'd look like some TV vampire which he is totally not related to, despite the resemblance.

I think he'd look like a game of thrones character if he gets his hair braided by a Toreador. But yeaaah, very unlikely he's planning a pyjama party. Or anything for that matter :p

And I simply don't trust Griffin. He's the typical type of character who backstabs you after 10 books and 12 movies, since he was the evil plottwist mastermind all along after you spend the entire time thinking he's alright. Well, him and Lyle, but Lyle doesn't actually do any effort to cover it up, you know he's evil, but he's the fun kind of evil everyone likes. Atleast all the woman in this RP it seems XD
