| Since we had the awesome time's playing Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines why shouldn't we talk about other sparkling games out there. As the title say's, what other RPG's kept you awake so many nights bloodsuckers? Name it, explain it, but don't spoil it . Myself, I had the pleasure to play Gothic I and Gothic II+Night of the Raven expansion. It has been an awesome experience and with my hand on my beating-heart I strongly suggest you should try it once in a lifetime. The game takes place in a medieval world, it has a very nice story, the character can move freely about anywhere on the map, the music is incredible. It's so much to tell that I'll skip it and let you have a good time exploring it. Bloodlines and Gothic (I,II) are my all time favorite PC games. Chuck Norris Approved. | |

| I can think of three games that sucked the life outta me.
Oblivion : with the gigantic mod comunnity of this game, you can become literally everything. On my most played save i had over 90 hours of gameplay, and accomplished pretty much everything a mage character could in that game.
WoW: For years i've been addicted to this game, nowadays not much, cuz the lich king expansion makes the game unplayable in my computer, and the private BC servers are pretty unenjoyable to play.
Age of Mythology: Not exactly an RPG, but this game once made me skip a night of sleep and play until 9:30 AM. Good times, bro, good times.

| There have been a number of games I've played to death... Deus Ex series, Vampire: the Masquerade-Redemption, the Baldur's Gate series, the Neverwinter Nights series, etc. But none have sucked up as much of my time as Bloodlines, both vanilla version and all the mods. Guess I have a thing for vampires.
Which is why, when the World of Darkness MMO comes out, I'm prepared to lose a lot of sleep.

I have to confess that I was a real WoW geek for a few years, too, but after the B*tch Lich King I thought, 'aw, to hell with it, this is getting boring'. Since then, I haven't touched the game. (Although I peeked into the Lord of the Rings MMORPG a few weeks ago when it was abo-free... but it isn't my cup of tea. Especially not on my crappy PC.) Otherwise, the game I have spent and still spend most of my playing time on - which, on a sidenote, isn't all that much anymore - is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Yeah, the predecessor of Oblivion. The looks of the game may be a bit dusty, and the constant crashes are annoying, but the main story - I was baffled the first time I played it. I still start over and over again - I've probably completed the storyline about 50 times now - and it's still not boring. Besides, the soundtrack is made of awesome. Just my opinion, but I could listen to the music all day... so beautiful. Oh, and of course, there's our beloved Bloodlines, but this doesn't have to be mentioned, does it?

| Cataclysm has given a very nice dimension to WoW, phaisng is awesome, leveling is very nice, playing HL gets hard and needs real game play... | |

| Claudia you nerd, Stop advertising! So, since i'm kinda of needing a good game to play right now (Currently i'm only with Black and White 2 and Populous 3. They're awesome games, but b&w2 is low paced, and i want an rpg game) I've checked the names given here back at gamespot and i'll go find for me a copy of Gothic 2. I think i'm gonna profit a lot from this thread | |

| In no particular order: Bloodlines of course Deus Ex 1 (2 sucked, hope 3 gets better) System Shock 2 Planescape : Torment (My personal favourite) Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind Baldur's Gate Gothic 1+2 (Addon) Realms of Arcania (Das schwarze Auge in german) 1-3 Mass Effect Star Wars: KotoR 1+2 Summoner Temple of Elemental Evil NWN series albeit I never playd throughthem found them boring after about ~10 hours. RPGs I missed out so far: Redemption Wishlist: Sadly no "Mage: Acenscion/Awakening" game made. Don't see any at the horizon. Thought about trying to mod a game into it but I do not know anyhing about modding and would not even know where to start to get the skills for something like that. | |

Well I admire Blizzard from being a good compagny that does work correctly ! Yes, go for cataclysm, you'll NEED skype/TS/mumble whatever to go through even some dungeons, which I love Anyway, play also some Just Cause too, it's fun :p
