| Enemies you feed on in combat areas don't go all orgasmic and keep shooting. Shouldn't they act like common folk in masquerade areas? | |

| That's because they're hostile, once you caught them they don't fight back | |

That doesn't make any sense to me.

| If i understand that right, your original question is: Why don't enemies in a combat zone stay tranced if you feed on them, but don't drain them. From a rules / game mechanics point of view, I'd say, it would make fights too easy. just nab one enemy and have him out of the way until you dealt with the other ones... From a viewpoint inside the game, I'd say, it's all the adrenaline sloshing around in a combattants body that keeps them alert and moving even after a successfull feeding. - | |

| You're right. What pushed me over the edge were surprise-feeding-attacks, so the "adrenaline" wouldn't apply... I get it. | |

- I suppose it really doesn't matter either way, if you were already feeding on one why not just keep feeding until you drained him? The only time I really ever though about dazing combatants was in areas like the Dane or the museum when you aren't supposed to kill anyone but might not be geared towards stealth. It would be nice to come up behind a cop and feed a bit before he can call for help and then have him dazed enough to slip through the gap in his patrol, even if it only left him dazed for 30ish seconds instead of until you reload the area like other NPCs.

| Well, in theory it is possible to keep these places a Masquerade area, instead of Combat zone, unless you trigger some kind of alert by being seen, or getting in the focus of a camera... But it would be a real pain in the ass to find all the possible options to trigger the alarm. - | |
