| Jerome accepts a seat with a thankful nod. "I agree that something is wrong. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be that serious yet. But it might be wise to start looking into things. Never hurts to be well-informed after all." | |

| Theodore seems thoughtful for a moment, and nods as to approve. He lost his smile in the process, and speaks quite seriously. (Theodore) I'm using these events as an excuse to test the newcomers, somehow. I have been keeping an eye out since that last dreadful attack, with a few others. It's not looking good but I can't seem to put my finger on what the hell's going on. He adds a few words full of rancor and pain, a bit more to himself than to the Toreador. It's a shame Darvault is such a coward. | |

| The Brujah gives a darker look to Jerome, with a certain frown, when combat (and the lack of it) is mentioned. He lets it go for the moment. (Theodore) Leads ? I'd tell you it could be a good idea to go and check what Tarcisus is up to, but you knew the guy, and the Toreador were about as disgusted as we were , and you happen to be friends with his precious toy, so getting direct feedback from her might be your best shot. As for ground problems, well, Mike suspects something's been going on in Setite territory. If you ask me, those guys are nothing but troublemakers, so infractions as usual, but enough to get Lambert's attention for once ; or so it should. For some reason, he and Gosuin close their eyes unless it's a serious crime, and it barely leads to a warning. I tried to reach Lambert, but didn't succeed (not a huge surprise, that), so I may just catch Gosuin to get some info out of him. On the other hand... Getting a proper discussion with Kersten might give you a few clues. I know he's been lurking around a few circles of influences where he's usually not found. He usually bullshits me around, but you.. He might just be half truthful with you.
He shrugs and looks through the only window of the room, even though he can't watch too far away. He lets the Toreador decide what topic interests him more.

| The shadows shifted slightly as the wind changed direction sending a waft of wine on the wind along with the tail of the long black jacket which reached Carrion’s ankles. Silently they cursed themselves for not buttoning it up more and took a moment to do so.
If someone were to look closely from a distance they would be able to make out a very pale face. Of course no one was looking and with a deep breath Carrion pulled the deep hood up to obscure their face and stepped into the building.
The lighting made their eyes burn but after a moment they adjusted; this pause at the door wasn’t too subtle and immediately made their way to the nearest dark corner that was free. The leather trousers and knee length boots creaked slightly as they moved across the room. Keeping their head downcast trying to go by as unnoticed as possible and take a seat at a table in the darkest corner available.

| Suzanne noticed what she could recognize as "one of them", but with student night she couldn't filter or welcome properly. She certainly guessed Carrion, as most Nosferatu, knows the rules, meaning speaking to her ghoul to open the door to Theo's upstairs. On the other hand, Jean-Pierre Griffin who basically had the same behavior (staying inside, being openly -not- social), with a book on one hand and a cup of coffee he couldn't drink in front of him, set his usual cold soul-stealing eyes on this person. A frown draws itself slowly as he observes with care, making sure his target has noticed it was being observed, despite having half to fully drunk students walking in and out of the bar to use the bathroom, use the phones, to ask for some music change, to borrow ice/light/cups/bottles and else. The Tremere closes the book and has a slight inviting gesture towards the nosferatu, as being at the same table would be easier to communicate. As he sets the book on the table, one can read it's an English copy of Edgar Allan Poe's novels compilation, one that has been read dozens of times over the years. | |

| Carrion’s eyes scan the room; feeling a set of eyes watching until Jean-Pierre comes into sight. Spotting the hand gesture Carrion pauses for a moment unsure if it was meant for them. When Jean’s eyes stayed on Carrion there was little doubt who the intended recipient was.
Carefully Carrion makes their way over taking care to avoid the congregated mortals as best as possible. When Carrion arrives at the table they remain standing, silently waiting for permission to sit. A set of gloved hands gripping the back of the seat obviously taking in the stranger's face and appearance from within their hood. - auspex 2, perception + empathy >5 :

| Jean-Pierre's permission arrives quite fast, as he gestures it with phlegm. He doesn't blink, observing the details of the Kindred before him, picking up anything that could be of use to him. He takes a few seconds before addressing the vampire as they sit. He sounds slightly surprised, it's barely noticeable. He makes sure he is speaking low enough not to be overhead, but enough to be understood by his conversational partner. As his usual self, Griffin's tone is quite cold, distant, but he is not threatening and could be even considered friendly, in opposition to how he is usually in Elysium. Maybe it's because no other Kindred is around. (Jean-Pierre) I wouldn't have guessed Mr. Jacob would ever... I was about to call your hotline, but since you're here... Would you mind accepting a side-job? A favor of a Tremere Harpy can be worth some travelling.

| Carrion takes the seat but keeps their head down cast with their hands resting on their knees if one was to look closely at their hands they would notice that their left thumb were missing.
Carrion keeps a respectful distance from him.
Taking a moment Carrion takes in Jean-Pierre's words carefully. (Carrion) - I...I don't wish to seem disrespectful sir...But I'm not here from the hotline, it was merely coincidental that I arrived when you required a service. If it pleases you I can hear your job and if I am not suited I will call the hotline on your behalf if that is acceptable? Carrion's voice was most definitely female there was a slight scratchy tone to it.- Auspex 3:
Obsfucate 3 in use. Behind the Obsfucate is a 5ft 6inch tall nosferatu with crooked pointy ears. Large black eyes with red iris' and an oddly small forehead. Their skin is a greyish green hue with small peppered scales doted about in patches. The skin itself pulled taught over their bones; however they are missing the cartilage that makes up their nose. The small pick like teeth at the front poking out from under the upper lip . If looking from the right side you can also see a hole in their cheek revealing some of their back teeth. For the most part they have no hair with exception for a long fringe that sometimes pokes into their eyes; the colour is brown. Their limbs are obviously lacking in muscle mass as the leather trousers look considerably baggier around the thighs and the boots are done up much tighter than what they lead others to believe.

| The Tremere listens with care. He nods when the Nosferatu states not being here because of a call by the Brujah, as he had assumed. He reaches his bag, still observing the Nosferatu. He takes out a few paper sheets from it and puts them in front of him. The paper looks quite old, it turned yellow with the time, they're folded in three. They look identical.(Jean-Pierre) Then I shall be quick ; I think you'll be able to do the job, but if you need to call Pierre... He doesn't seem to mind that the nosferatu may not be able to do the job, but he considers she can do it. He approaches to her the papers, without being invasive, and he explains the task he needs done.(Jean-Pierre) One should be given to Jacob, upstairs, and one should be given to a neonate by the name of Duncan Oliver, a Brujah presented yesterday. It is important that they are given hand to hand, that no one knows it was by my hand, and that no Tremere and no Ventrue learns about them. I do not mind that you make a copy for your own archives, as long as it does not come back to haunt her. Does it seem to fit your skills ? - Perception+empathy>4:
The Tremere seems slightly worried about "haunting her", he takes these papers very seriously and him asking that no Tremere knows about it is an obvious hint that he's working without his clan knowing about it.

| Carrion waits for his hand to be at a respectful distance; being painfully aware that not many vampires like to touch Nosferatu. Before taking the paper and carefully reading the contents.
(Carrion whilst reading) The neonate, Duncan Oliver. He is upstairs as well?
I assume you wish for them to be ignorant of the fact they both are receiving these notes.
Of course you realise I cannot take responsibility what happens to this information once it is delivered to the recipients.

| The Tremere looks around carefully, as if he was making sure not to be spied on.(Jean-Pierre) Mr. Oliver has left, probably on a task given by Primogen Jacob. Griffin shrugs slightly, he doesn't know where Duncan may be.(Jean-Pierre) I do not mind both of them knowing the other knows about this information, eventually they will communicate. They must know however that they shouldn't share the information. But they will probably guess it by reading it, so I will not held you nor your clan responsible is they speak. - piece of paper:
The papers handled are two copies. They show a vintage ID card from 1942. They are written in German. It looks like one of these papers, clic me I'm a link. It shows a picture of a white man with black hair at least in his 40's. His name states "Harold Marcel Vonïgner". The large "J" indicates clearly this Harold was a jew, certainly deported during the war. He was born in Strasbourg and the card was issued there. Both papers are old copies of the original document, and they have been yellowed by time.

| (Carrion in a much quieter voice) Pity, I don't speak German. Relation to the beautiful Claudia perhaps? The last names look awfully similar.
I'm glad you understand, I would hate for us to cause an incident. As for Mr Oliver, I will not interfere if he is on the job; I can wait until he returns. I would hate to be thought of as a distraction while he is working on behalf of his clan.
For the first time during this meeting Carrion lifts her head up to look at Jean-Pierre; revealing a mouth and pale chin. The lips twisted into a slightly crooked smile. As she sat up she crossed her legs.
(Carrion) You look a mite twitchy friend, something on your mind?

| Griffin gives the long, quiet look when the Nosferatu links the paper to Claudia. His tone is harsh, as if the comment displeased him. (Jean-Pierre) They are very similar, indeed.
He calms down his voice after a slight sigh. He explains himself on his behavior. The Tremere was never known to be the relaxed kind, anyway, but it is true he's fairly on edge. (Jean-Pierre) This is fairly urgent, it must be done tonight ; depending of what Mr. Oliver is doing, you may or may not be able to meet him. You will need to obtain confirmation from his Primogen. It has more importance than you or I seem to realize..

Her voice was completely neutral; she took no pleasure in this and spoke as though she was merely stating possible facts. She leaned back again when she finished speaking and began speaking normally again.
(Carrion) Indeed, well I shall be on my way. Don't worry about the helpline I will call them on your behalf.
Gently places the papers in her inner coat pocket as she spoke
(Carrion) Would you like confirmation of individual delivery?

| The harpy thinks about what the Nosferatu states about his behavior. His usual deadly, cold look shows he clearly disapproves. (Jean-Pierre) You should not guess or speculate blindly, young one, again, you do not realize what this may lead to... There is always a reason behind everything, a reason one may never even get close to.
The Tremere softens his tone to add. (Jean-Pierre) No, I do not need any confirmation, I know the nosferatu take their job seriously and meet the wishes of their.. "customer". If you do need to contact me in emergency, I believe Mr. Pierre has my telephone number.
He leaves the information as such, nods slightly, and with a hand movement, he allows the Nosferatu to leave his table, even if she didn't need his permission. To go upstairs, the rules have not been changed ; you have to see one of Suzanne's ghoul, a barman, so he can allow you upstairs.

| Carrion gets up hesitating for a moment; as though she was thinking of doing something but then shrugs it off.
(Carrion) Thank you for your time Mr Griffin. I will of course carry out my duty and thank you for your words of wisdom, good evening.
Her words are not sarcastic she genuinely found the conversation enlightening. With that she stalks off; keeping to the shadows as best as possible. She heads into the bathroom and locks herself in one of the stalls.
Checking above her and around for any hidden nasties such as cameras or microphones that could detect what she is doing. When she was certain she wasn't being watched any more she pulls the document out and photographs it. Immediately returning the document into her inner pocket.
She sends the image and a text stating her new mission off to Mr Pierre and promptly deletes both the image and the text message off her phone. With the formalities over and done with she leaves and returns to the club to look for the Ghoul barman. With all the people dotted about this takes a few minutes but when she finds what she's looking for she approaches.
(Carrion) Excuse me...

| The Harpy offers a slight smile and a small, barely noticeable hand-wave as farewells.
The bathrooms are quite clean, considering it's a place where students start the night. Some are somewhat drunk, but they are not as drunk as they could be ; El Bodegon is certainly a place known for its fun, friendly ambiance, but it's not where kids will finish their nights completely wasted ; clubs are slightly more in that perspective, as well as some nights on the water mirror. A few students go in and out the bathrooms, of course for the normal usage of it, but also to conclude small drug deals, or get more intimate (at least allow some petting and some sexy kisses, then go to one's house). Other than that, it's pretty quiet.
The barman, while he serves some beers and colas to the waiters as they pass by, observes the hidden nosferatu with a certain care. Not breathing, checked, certainly sober, checked, certainly not a college student, checked, coming to him instead of ordering to a waitress, checked, not heavily armed, checked, and seems pacific, checked. He touches something under the counters and signs hastily to that door leading upstairs. (Barman) Yeah, go on ahead.
Once upstairs, the first one can notice is that it's sound-isolated enough. The upstairs door opens easily, revealing a quite big room, organized as a private saloon with a few doors. There is a billiard table and everything necessary to a pool game. There are a few coaches and seats that seem comfortable, but also used by time. A black board is on one of the walls, where either points were counted, or bills noted, and next to it was pined a huge map of the CUB (Bordeaux and its close surroundings ; CUB means Urban Community of Bordeaux). There is also an old desk in a corner, with a closed laptop on it, next to a window that certainly has a view on the Victoire Plaza (they aren't noticeable from outside because the glass is tainted). A couple of round tables are also available. The luminosity is low, lower than the one of the human part of the bar, as to take care of the night owls that are Kindred' eyes sometimes. The floor is wooden, probably quite old too, maybe as old as the building itself, unlike downstairs. There is a certain tobacco smell which is impregnated in the wooden floor, but also from the present people smoking inside. After all, some keep the habit out of habit, but also to keep in touch with the superficial side of humanity. Theodore is looking up something in a book, at the desk. Mike is discussing with Jerome Lehin as they go through the news papers, about the recent news of disappeared students after nights out, certainly victims of hungry kindred who cleaned after themselves. They're also discussing some vandalism that had happened during the last few months in some crypts, ossuaries and cemeteries in the city. The investigators first thought it was for some satanist rituals, but they then moved to a more "plausible", greedy explanation that those skulls that were stolen, in their boxes called "the clocks of life", from the XVI and the XVII century, can be sold in the black market. Victoire is observing the map and their pins.
When the Nosferatu enters, Theodore Jacob raises his eyes a second, then sets them down again, then up again with a certain surprise. He looks for the differentiation details to be able to recognize the person before him, which is actually quite fast since he grew used not to have Auspex. He gives her a slight smile and invites her to come closer, to the chair in front of him. (Theodore) Carrion, good evening ! What can I help you with?

| Carrion gives the barman a silent nod of thanks and makes her way up into the new room.
As she makes her way in she takes in her surroundings carefully; obviously looking for hostility or danger; when finding none her posture relaxes visible. She takes a deep breath inhaling the familiar smell of tobacco it pulls her mouth into a small smile of memories.
But she was pulled abruptly back to reality by Theo talking to her. She turns to face him and smiles back as she approaches and takes the pre-offered chair turning it slightly so she could still see what was going on if she turned her head slightly.
Feeling more comfortable she still decides to keep her hood up for the moment unsure where she stood with the new vampires. Testing the waters she smiles at Theo and offers him a thumb-less hand to shake.
Primogen Theodore, always a pleasure. I'm afraid this is not a social call, I need to speak to you in private if possible?

| With no hesitation and not thinking twice, Theodore shakes the Nosferatu's hand. After a small joke, he matches the Nosferatu's seriousness with a slight smile. (Theodore) And here I was thinking you'd all would want to party... Private, uh?
The Brujah Primogen seems suspicious for an instant, thinking first about the worst scenarios by reflex. He chases those thoughts and attitude away hastily. (Theodore) Sure, follow me.
He closes his book, which he takes with him. He walks across the room to a side door, opens it and enters. It's a small private room, with a couch, a low table, lots of boxes, and also, some firearms of most kinds (rifles and shotguns types, mainly, but a couple of handguns too), well kept on a wall, handy and accessible. He waits for Carrion to close the door and invites her to sit on the couch. Himself stays on his feet, probably a protection just in case, considering it's quite dangerous to stay in a room full of weapons with someone he's not trusting entirely. After all, being paranoid is a quality, in a Kindred. Theodore knows others have it too, so to show peacefulness, he places himself in a way to always turn his back on the weapons, and keeps his hands visible at all times. He sets the book on the top of one of the boxes to have both hands free. Once he sees the door is closed, he observes the Nosferatu, waiting for her reasons. He's calm but curious.

| Carrion tries her best to hide her broadening smile at him shaking her hand as she follows him into the private room.
She silently closes the door not even making the door click as it shuts. Her eyes sweep across the room; taking in the weapons across the wall with little to no interest instead she stalks around the room turning over the objects in the room making sure no unwanted guests are listening in; when satisfied she straightens up and turns to Theo.
Sorry, I had to be sure no one is listening.
She eyes the sofa suspiciously; after turning over all the cushions and finding nothing she sits; perching herself on the edge of the seat.
I've been asked to deliver a document to yourself and Mr Oliver. The person who gave me the document wished to remain anonymous and requests that you do not allow the information to fall into Tremer or Ventrue hands.
As she speaks she looks up at him, her hood still obscuring the top half of her face. Even though most of her face is obscured it's still not a pretty sight. Her skin is pale and from the hollows in her cheeks she looks like she's never seen a good meal in her life.

| The Brujah observes the Nosferatu's moves in between amusement and hurt feelings by the idea that his place may be compromised ; he's falsely hurt. He doesn't protest and just shrugs in response to her apology. He can't help a small teasing smirk as she does the same with the couch. He listens to the request with all the weight and seriousness it seems to deserve. (Theodore) I don't mind if you break the dissimulation you guys wear, so if you want to be at ease you can. Anonymous, uh? Okay, I accept the document and its rules. Did they told why me ?
He approaches a little, his right hand with a palm up, expecting said document.

| Tenses a little at his approach obviously not used to vampires from other clans coming this close.
I..uh...I'm fine, thank you for your hospitality.
Her eyes remain downcast for the most part until she forced her gaze back up again; obviously taking in the Primogen at full stature.
I have no idea why you and Mr Oliver require the documents though I won't deny I am rather curious.
With a small sigh she pulls down her hood revealing a gaunt face with deathly pale skin and bloodshot pale blue eyes. Although obviously female she had a shaved head. There was nothing really memorable about the face and if someone was looking at her they'd probably mistake her for a drug addict from looking at her face. She reaches into one of her inner pockets retrieving one of the documents whilst leaning back on the sofa to get access to the inner pocket. Holding out the document for him to take in her gloved hand.
I need to deliver the other to Mr Oliver. I'm afraid I was told that I must do it hand to hand personally. May I enquire as to his whereabouts?

| The Primogen hides quite well his primal disgust, and he fights it well. It's always a fearful experience to watch a Nosferatu, but the Brujah has become used to it. Not like he'd like to do it every other night, nor that he wants to, but he's cool with it. He takes the paper, steps a little back, knowing that personal space is important (especially in front of someone who could break your neck with his thumbs), and opens it to read it. His first reaction is a low but clear mutter. (Theodore) Damn ! It's German.
Carrion can follow his eyes as he observes the document, not truly reading it, but he does observe it carefully, certainly understanding what it is. He lost his smile as he almost didn't listen to the Nosferatu. He weighs with all it's meaning the outcomes of this paper. (Theodore) I see... You can't tell me who sent you, really? Someone wants trouble.
His brain connects to what the Nosferatu said. (Theodore) Duncan ? He's unavailable at the moment. But I'll leave him a message, even if I don't see why your.. employer wants him to know this, whatever. I gotta tell him to call Pierre, so you guys arrange a meeting point? Or do you want to arrange it yourself without using the helpline?

| Yes, it is indeed in German. She crosses her legs as she speaks; it seems a very effeminate action for a Nosferatu. Can see if it has been translated yet if that pleases you? I must admit my own German isn't great but I couldn't help noticing the gentleman's last name, as I'm guessing you did as well. She lets out a small sigh; it sounds more like a wheeze. You know I can't break my word Theo. Not without pissing off some people in a much better position to send me to my final death at any rate. Sometimes we can't see all the connections until the opportunity passes us by, hopefully that won't be the case here. A part of my agreement is to deliver these tonight as soon as possible. I really need to know where he is, you have my word I will not divulge any sensitive information. If you wish to do it via the helpline then that is your prerogative of course. Takes her phone from her pocket and places it into his hand. - perception + empathy>4:
she's quite impressed with his manner towards her, most openly show their disgust towards the nosferatu.
