Heh. Victor's being paranoid. She could've been performing a ritual before Igor distracted her. She wasn't meditating so then she must be contemplating. Meditation is essentially passive while contemplation is always active and intentional. Why should the little blood magician's attention be so fixed as ignore all else in the room even to the point of being unaware of Igor's approach and touch?
