| Many times when I read the posts, I want to let the person to know that I like his/her thinking or the way he/she wrote it. Thats why I want to ask, will it be a problem if in the forum there is an option to like or dislike the posts? | |

| That depends on Zer0. You know, now everything depends on zeros and ones Seriously, I think the majority wouldn't support such a change... It would make the forum YouTube-ish. Not that I have anything against YouTube, but most of us here prefer to show approval/disapproval in a form of witty comments. At least I prefer doing so. Even if not all my comments were witty | |

| I absolutely disagree with implementing this idea. | |

When I read that and look at your avatar It sounds too serious, but yep I don't think it would be a good idea to implement such a thing, I can't stop thinking about facebook when picturing a like button for comments, AND I HATE FACEBOOK

| I completely agree with Feral, except at the moment it depends on me. Zer0 hasn't even looked at the forum for quite some time now. We can handle the telling people if we like their posting quite well as it is. If I think, something is bullshit, I prefer telling itto the author's face, then I can also explain what makes me feel that way. And if someone thinks my messages to be shit, I also want to know why. Finally, even if there were some reputation system or somthing, I wouldn't use it, and I wouldn't give a fuck what it says about my rep. Judging by the other responses to this topic, it seems I don't even have to put up a poll. - | |

| I totally agree, Malkav. All a rating system would do is make me self-conscious about my posts. Planet Vampire has the rating system (which I believe is where The_Killer got the idea), and I don't like it. If my 'reputation' goes up, I wonder which post someone liked, and if it goes down, I wonder which post someone hated. Before I write my comments, I don't want to be thinking, "Gee, will people like this? Will they think it's funny?" I do enough self-editing already, by not telling people what I think about some of their stupid ideas. LOL And by being courteous, even when I'm in a crappy mood. (This one sometimes slips a bit.)
No rating system, please.

| I'd rather not have a rating system, either. If someone doesn't like what I say, let them tell me with a reply. The same applies to the posts they do like. Just my opinion. | |
