| So I killed a bunch of magisters, had Griff attack me, got a point in Scoundrel, realised I have to purchase said skills, got angry and killed his whole gang. Now I have Adrenaline, gonna get me some potions and gonna kill some more. It's addictive. Wendigo is dead btw, so I'm going Hannibal on those 'memory sticks.' There's a paladin in the castle. I wonder if all the torture is why he's pissed. Anyway yay me! | |

Please share why he is pissed, I never got the chance to finish his quest or whatever there is to him. I just forgot about it, and now I'm too lazy to start the game all over again XD

| Why Cloak and Dagger and not Backlash? Should I level just str/con witch occasional memory, or should I invest in finesse, too? You know, for the crossbow. | |

| Backlash requires an equipped dagger.
There's no point in having 2 different type of weapons in a fight. Changing weapons takes AP and the scaling may be different. Daggers and ranged scale on finesse, other melee scale on str.
Also, armor types have requirements. Heavy armor requires str, medium/leather armor requires finesse and magical robes requires int. You'll eventually have enough mobility through skills and enough defensive skills that it doesn't matter how far away an enemy is, you can still get close and smack them with your 2h/dual wield weapons.
(There's a mod to remove dagger restrictions on Scoundrel skills somewhere on the nexus if that's your thing)

| Ifan's quest is to kill Alexandar the dick, and he's given a crossbow to do it; which has finesse requirement of 11. Thus the question.
There was this battle with voidwoken that kept spawning, 1000xp each. What a harvest!

| That's because he's originally a Wayfarer, a crossbreed of ranger with mage. Thus the crossbow. | |

| "Realise in horror he must mean the severed leg you have in your pack for perfectly legitimate reasons."
Edit: I think I'll use that mod to get rid of Parry in favour of Pet Pal...

| Pet Pal best Pal talent. It adds so much to the game, and it's hilarious (most of the time). | |

| You must talk to Emmie and the other dogs before your character has had their collar taken off, or left the prison (opening the sewer grate counts). Doing either of the two makes all Magisters and Source Hounds immediately hostile to you, making it impossible to talk to Emmie.
Edit: Is the Lone Wolf retroactive?

| Retroactive as in losing your bonus points? Yes. When you hover your mouse over your attributes and skills, you can see how many are Base points (what you leveled), what are from your Gear, and then any bonuses like food or Lone Wolf - meaning that all the game has to do is remove the bonus from LW. Was that your question? I'm not sure if I understood it right '-' | |

| It also works the other way. If you have a character in your party that is not Lone Wolf, when they get the talent it will apply the bonus as normal. | |

| So when I get Lone Wolf at level 10, I will get 10 levels of bonus, right? I'm not Lone Wolf hence on. | |

Yes. There isn't any difference from leveling up with Lone Wolf from lv 1 or leveling up normaly and then changing to lone wolf at level 10

| You gain a talent at level 1, 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28, 33.
That could be an interesting form of masochism.

| Should I invest in Loremaster? Traders identify stuff for me for a few gold...
Now my letter disappeared. I'm fucking tired with this shit.

| Emmie is Buddy's friend. She was kidnapped and brainwashed by the sadistic magister. | |
