CRC error while trying to extract ce 1.2

i downloaded ce 1.2 four times from different mirrors but when i try to extract it gives CRC error!

C:\Users\demren\Documents\Downloads\Compressed\vtmb_camarilla_edition1.2.zip: CRC failed in VTMB Camarilla Edition 1.2.exe. The file is corrupt

i am trying to fix it for 12 hours. I tried a lots of rar repair, zip repair prog, also w,n rar's own repair tool but that's not working.

if u have any idea about what can i do, please enlight me

There's nothing you can do, for now, because I had the same problem, and nobody knows just why this happens. :E

that really hurts me, i think if admin upload setup.exe directly (not rar) that could be a solution.

Maybe so, but I did dl an .exe file from ModDB and instead of an extract error, I got install error, something is wrong and it's certainly not your problem. We'll have wait some more, I guess, until a solution is found.

Actually Rar files are more stable to upload and download than executables.

Did you both download from the same site? It could have been an error introduced on a specific server where it was uploaded.

i downloaded from file send, patches scroll, file front, dlh.net.

all of them gives error

First off I've never uploaded or packaged CE 1.2 as anything but an .exe, if you are downloading a .zip, .rar, or anything else then it has been tampered with and is not mine. The one from ModDB and Filesend are mine, all others are not.

This is the 2nd time someone has had a corrupt download. Did you also download it from ModDB or Filesend, you mentioned a .rar so that wouldn't be one that I put out.

downloading from moddb, its exe and looks like its working thx for attention

thank you, this is a great mod, great work. If anyone gets error like mine, download it from moddb, its works.
