After the Boat mission

So after completing the boat mission there were 3 guys waiting for me in the beach, at first i killed them but then I noticed i lost 1 humanity for each of them...
I reload my game and try to run past them, no problem.

The problem is now I'm trying to complete the quest which involves killing the guy that is giving info to star lucky hotel guy for his book and i have to lose 3 humanity to progress on this quest.

I don't remember those 3 guys on the vanila and they would be ok if I didn't have to lose humanity for them...

The three guys you mentioned. Where they the thin bloods from earlier? Perhaps you did something to set them off? Did you kill someone? Maybe dropped a cop? For every unnecessary killing you commit in a HUB area, you lose humanity points. As far as the guy you kill for giving up vampire info...you should try and reason with him instead. Scare him out of town. You don't have to off him. Just threaten him to leave and keep his mouth shut. That will do the trick. You lose 1 masquerade but gain humanity instead of losing so much.
