Germany is no better. NPD with 1%? I guess 1% of the voters didn't take their history class seriously. Not to mention AfD at, what, 7%? It's like the NPD with a fancy paintjob. Add another 7% of idiots in a country already fucking sensitive to extremists of any caliber.

It was a painful day for most of the people with a brain cell in the UK. I was honeatly mortified by how well UKIP did Luby died a little more on the inside ;_;

I blame the media. Even the mainstream media have become so sensationalist, a story on why you should possibly be anti-europe is is too much to pass up. Even if your financial institutions and most of your industry goes: "r u fuckin' bonkers m8?"

Here in Belgium a year ago (I think) a bus crashed in switserland, they were holding extended news coverage for weeks. WEEKS. Alright, I get it, it's tragic, one of my College teacher's lost a daughter there, but seriously, let the people grieve and stop asking stupid questions. And once they refused more comment, they made small documentaries, who dun it, bad road code or the driver? What do their distant friends and family think. GAH! *grabs an axe and chops the local news crew to pieces*

Basically if the UK leaves the EU we are fucked. We have zero industry any more because importing is cheaper, we will be unable to sustain agricultural interests (amoung many other things) because we get funding from the EU which keeps them going. Confidence in our markets will drop so investors will pull out, taxes will go up to try and meet demands in essential services. So essentially the UK is voting for another fucking recession.
