I think every one of those characters has something appealing about them. I could have voted for any of them, except maybe Ash.

Yeah...Gary is cool! So is Nines in his own way, too bad that character wasn't fleshed out a bit more...he had the potential to be really interesting.

(LaCroix's a good example for what can happen to a vampire if he starts to loose control to the Beast. It doesn't have to be as simple as becoming a raving wild animal - that's like the chlichée of the FishMalk. I like the idea that the beast has its own ways to make you succumb to its will... slow corruption, that is, and you only become the crazed animal if that corruption is fully completed and efforts to search for last scratches of humanity are vain.)

But I agree on what's been said about Jack. This guy's just cool. Jack's Jack. No more words necessary.

Someone could make another poll: would you have voted for Sebastian as your favorite male vampire NPC?

I really like Becket, for his wisdom and ability to see true value of earthly gain, though he could be a little annoing. He knows he is smart and that makes him somehow arrogant. I voted for him nevertheless.
But my favorite, after a bit of consideration, would be Strauss. For his knowladge, consideration and insight. Even if it does only serwe to hide his scheaming behind LaCroix back. But, as some Malkavian said, there is an iron crown above his head, and the jester prince dances before him. His ability to bend reality towards favourable ends is amazing. Still, he is a Tremere...

Oh I think Lacroix's problem is not the Beast (he probably has it undercontrol), it's because he is a power hungry bastard who thinks he has teh awesomest candy in his hands to become even more powerful/rich.
The Ego that guy has is purely human, can't blame it on the beast ;-)

That is nice to know, I had the impression he "thought" he was Caine, or at the least one of the Ancient first few. And with the way the Dev's played out the conversation in the cab, you as the player started to think that just maybe...

You can't be sure if he is a friend of Jacks' or he is just a powerful Malkavian that is manipulating him to do his bidding. There's a strange vibe in the air and every kindred in LA has felt it. That's definitely the Cabby, not the mummy inside the sarcophagus as everyone thought.
