| Hi everyone, I discovered VTM not long ago. I heard a thing or two about the PnP games but that's about it. Well I enjoyed the vanila game and was looking for spicing things up with this mod.
However, as title says I have an issue with the mod. I'd like to know if there's some "easy" way to change the XP cost of abilities and disciplines. I spent some time in the .txt files but I didn't manage to find anything.
I hope it's not too hard to change, anyway thanks for your time and bye.
P.S : I didn't find a similar topic, my apologies if there's already one.
[EDIT : Errrr.... managed to find it wasn't that hard... Well if it can help others here's what you have to do : -go to your instal directory -then \Vampire\vdata\system -look for stats.txt (make a backup of the file) -open it, you're looking for "Abilities" a few line below you should see : "New" "2" set it to 3 - then look for "Disciplines" a few line below you should see : ""Raise" "Current_Rating * 6" set it to 5]

| I know there is way to change the cost, but this is a way around it : Console command can give you xp "giftxp X" | |

| I use "give item_" all the time. I don't like how the game won't let you pick up multiple weapons, and I refuse to keep going back into places like the Parking Garage in Downtown L.A. to get one stinking gun at a time, so I can sell them to Fat Larry.... I can get the ammo from each gun after the first one I pick up, but the gun disappears. I consider that a game design flaw. So I count the guns in the garage after the slaughter (hehe) and create them out by Fat Larry's van. I don't consider this a cheat -- just a time saver, so I don't have to make a separate trip into the garage for each gun. Hey, at the beginning you are short on cash.
Places like the Sabbat Warehouse in Santa Monica, or the Society of Leopold in Malibu, also piss me off because they drop plenty of weapons but you can only pick up one of each type, and you can't go back for them. I don't use the console in these cases, because they blow up and you can't go back for the weapons. But I still feel cheated. Whatever happened to the adage, "To the victors go the spoils"? Dammit.
However, I don't use the XP cheat. That ain't right.

| If you could actually carry all the guns from the society, the boat would probably sink - | |

| It's already no big deal when you carry around a severed arm, at plain sight, so we shouldn't talk about inherent logic of the size and weight of your backpack ! And that you can jump ion fire with the flamegun and the ammo doesn't explode... | |

| Ho, ho, ho It's magic, you know Never believe it's not so It's magic, you know Never believe, it's not so Never been awake Never seen evening break Leaning on my pillow in the sunset Lazy day in bed Music in my head Crazy music playing in the evening light Ho, ho, ho It's magic, you know Never believe it's not so It's magic, you know Never believe, it's not so I love my darkened day Dream of far away Dreaming on my pillow in the sunset Never been awake Never seen evening break Leaning on my pillow in the sunset light Ho, ho, ho It's magic, you know Never believe it's not so It's magic, you know Never believe, it's not so Ho, ho, ho It's magic, you know Never believe it's not so It's magic, you know Never believe, it's not so

| look in, i think it's traiteffects.txt.
Follow the trail from the one of the histories that adjusts the costs for specific disciplines. That will show you how to do it. This way you can raise/lower the cost of disciplines, traits, or abilities individually, rather than a blanket adjustment.

| Right you are Mouser. In TraitEffects.txt you can adjust just about anything. | |
