I think the healing should be modified because healing should be passive for the most part. Would it make sense that a pc's blood would automatically reduce if the health drops below their blood level in order to activate increased healing temporally. This system seems more correct because the beast thinks "survive eat survive" and is not concerned with the pc trying to efficiently manage blood. This could remove blood heal from the game freeing up a discipline for something else if the script is written. Or it could be instituted very quickly by just setting a trigger to activate blood heal when the player's health drops below their blood saving time but keeping blood buff in the game.
