| After I read the email the quest log did not update (should it?) But when I went to the Foxy Boxes there should have been the commands send (copy) and delete, right? But there weren't, so I could not perform the actions requested by Bertram. Now I am stuck at Foxy Boxes unable to perform the quest that led me there. Is there something I can do? | |

| Not sure what happened there. I never had any problems. Can't do anything tonight. I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. - | |

| Thanks for taking the time to help me, offering to come up with a solution for my predicament, and obviously take your time.
But I also had these doubts that I would appreciate if they were answered: Is the quest log supposed to update? And after reading the e-mail there are supposed to appear commands at the foxy gloves computer that enable us to perform the actions requested of us by Bertram, right?

| QuestLog should update and there should be commands. No idea what happened in your game.

| Calm down, please. I was overdue for bed last night, because I had to get up early this morning. And remember that I haven't plaed TFN for quite some time, due to making CE 1.5. Though there are similar quests in both mods, they are handled in different ways, so I had to look even this up. Yes, of course the quest log should have been updated when you read the email. And the new commands appear on the cathayan's computer. I think, I found out what went wrong. You probably already had the skyline haven when you read the email, and the python function needed to do these things is located in the Santa Monica script only. You should be able to continue the quest when you enter these commands in the console: __main__.FindPlayer().SetQuest("MeetAkeem", 1) G.Bertram_Check = 2 - P.S.: Note for Zer0, or whoever might take responsibility for TFN: def bertramsEmail(): must either be moved to vamputil.py, or copied to downtown. py as well as SM.py | |

| Childe I did say take your time in finding a solution there was no rush as it was your timing was perfect. I endorsed my following question to whoever else might also be following this thread and as it was Feral was kind enough to answer me. And your assessment of the problem was dead on, I did read this email while already at my new haven at the Skyeline Apartments building. Thank you for having come up with a solution and trust me in a timely fashion. I will now proceed to try it out, will let you know how it went.

| Glad I could help. I didn't even notice Ferals reply to the topic, because I had the editor open while serching the TFN files for the cause of the problem, and a possible solution. - | |

| Well thanks once again. Now I can go on with the game. And your solution will problably help others who found themselves in the same predicament as myself. And I noticed that you left proposed alterations, fixes, for zer0, to prevent this happening again, probably to be included in a patch or in a subsequent version of TFN.
Anyway you were a bit right I was somewhat impatient for an answer, while at the same time knowing that I had to allow you to take your time in coming up with a solution. Sorry about that.
