New quests?

Hey!

I've recently installed the Camarilla edition mod, and it's pretty awesome!
I'm playing as a Gangrel, and enjoying it. Almost finished chinatown now.

My question is regarding the new quests I've seen... so...

I've seen the new bertram tung quest (the 3 items quests), and the first quest from akeem (the book quest).
Are there any new quests I've missed? Except the Nosferatu one to get the haven early, I guess.

No, you haven't missed a quest. And the sewer haven for Nossies is just an additional reward for the Bertram quest.

Can someone help me with Bertram quests'?

I copied and deleted data (quest update)
I went to Akeen and helped him with his book but he gave me me nothing dor Bertram
I went to Milligan and took a photo (no quest update)

after copying & deleting quest log changed and now it says "you did etc....if you have the other item Bertram wanted,report to him" or something like this.
Well.in this way after doing the first thing,there is no way to know which are the other 2.

I suspect you didn't use the right dialogue options with Akeem. He gives you a briefcase for Bertram, but you don't have to do anything for him in order to get the briefcase.

If you haven't spoken to him yet you have to ask him "Are you Akeem?" and then you can tell him that you came for Bertram's item and he should give you a Briefcase (description: "A briefcase containing an odd looking typewriter. Akeem claims it to be an original German Enigma machine from WW II.")

If you have spoken to him before then you can directly ask him for Bertram's item.

i have that item.....i have the photo of the nosferatu from Milligan's house but when i go to Bertram,i have no dialogue options to close the quest.

Where are you with your main quests? You must have all the items, and talk to Bertram before you go to the museum. If you don't visit him in time, all you get is an angry email that also triggers the quest failure message.

i must go to Alistair Grout,so before museum
the only "quest update" i have is when i copy and delete.....i have nothing when i pick the photo and after Akeem mission.

I assume, you have completed the asian vamp quest, so that guy is dead. And you have all three items, ths cd, the photo, and the enigma mashine with you. Hm, then when you talk to Bertram, he should ask what do you need? And you tell him that you have his items.
If that doesn't happen, either your vamputil.py didn't complie for some reason, or you have the wrong dialog file. But I don't have any idea how that could happen, unless you tried to install tow different patches/mods at the same time.
To make sure, I suggest you delete your vamputil.pyc file, and see if the py recompiles at the next game start.
And check -bllodlines\vampire\dlg\snatamonica\bertram.dlg with a text editor. at the end of the file, the first line that states starting conditions should read "nosGetQuest(5)" or something very similar.

I don't have any CD......it just say that i have copied,then i get "quest updated" and 1XP but in the inventory i have not a CD.

Didn't you take the cd out of your haven mailbox, as Bertram's original email told you to do?
Then I'll have to make a check on that before you can copy the data from the cathayan's computer for the next version of CE...

Ops it seems i didn't read that part.....but i copied even without it.
You should add "quest updates" even for the other 2 items.....

I have thought about making quest updates for each item, but as there is no fixed order in which to get the things, it is more trouble than it's worth. And you can even get the photo before you have the quest, so I'd have to check for that, too...
That's why I decided, one entry for the most important step, the data, is sufficient.

Well, the most important thing is, that your problem is solved... Hope you payed attention when the Elder taught you things

maybe onòy changing description when the quest log is updated because if someone decide to stop playin before finishing the quest and restart some days later,he may not remember what he has to do since in the description (updated) of the quest there is no mention of Akeem and Milligan but just (if i remember well) "the other objects)

I have already done that for future versions. I've seen this flaw on my first playthrough with the 1.5 version after release. Now the quest log will mention the other items by name.
And after this conversation, I have also put a reminder to get the cd out of your mailbox into the initial questlog entry, and made the copy and delete function available only if you have the cd with you.
