| zer0morph, you probably covered this in enough depth when you presented TFN, but....
regardless, i will ask here a question that was pressing - even though i actually think i have the answer:
in daydream believer, one of the things you could sell was chewing gum, found in the pier proper, (with the excuse - to blunt the fangs)
well, i couldn't find it were it was supposed to be.
though i did find, in its vicinity, one of those random items randomly placed that you need higher investigation to be able to spot them...
could one have been turned into the other???

Too many personalities for one mouse... Velvet, the chewing gum was actually added by Wesp for the plus patch. That's probably the reason why Zer0 took it out. Or he needed the item slot for some other quest item. -

| childe you as childe of Malkav himself and hence, the closest a member of clan malkavian can have to a master, are exceedingly close to the thruth:
karavolos, it could be siad i suffer from an excess of multiple personalities, it could be argued that i have a personality for each person i inetract with, that say if i speak to you i adopt a personality, if i speak to childe of malkav i adopt another personality, and so each personality claims the right to express itself indpendently, hence double posting, when i address malkav the personality that addresses him does so in a post, the personality that addresses you does so in another post of its own -
which i have just denied by addressing you and malkav in the same post but whaddayana, i am a malkav so... unpredictable and able to act ouit of character as the best of crazies out there...
nuh uh, i can be adaptable, go with the flow, and if you take umbrage to it i will try to rectify...
whatever
also sometimes i have several different issues toi address, and, whaddayakna, each issue seems to demand its own post to be addressed in, so i will poist as many posts as have issues to address....
i know, i know, a bit anti ethic in what cpomes to forum ethincs, but there you have it.....
and back to childe, thanks for clarifying what you did....
while actually not completely iluminating it....
guess i will have to wait for the demiurge himself to clarify the issue...
btw, the other topic i had created seems to have gone dormant, abandoned....
and zer0morph has been uncharacteristically silent...
what gives? do you know what might have ..... is he, i mean the person behind him.... otherwise occupied, or what?? miss him.... worried.....

| uh, when it says in your post, reaction, beneath it, a blank....
was it some... computer flaw that caused your reaction to be lost in informatic limbo?
or was it your reaction, a blank, a silence, that as answer, as reaction, meant to convey, symbolically, your answer, your reaction? a "meaningful silence"?
and....
you quote a whole sentence, then only a word...
er... i have had, or not me but others.... uh, not here, i guess.... like, a lot of americans that use computers are so illiterate that they write almost gibberish, don't know how to spell each word they write... while, strangely enough, non native writers so much dominate spelling that they berate others for things as poor spelling... a bit too puritanical in the absolute respect for words as entitities in their own right, deserving the inalienalable right to be well spelt....
to which, i must confess... some blind spots, and lots of typos...
or was it the meaning of the word itself,
like,
you know zer0morph better, for longer, than me, so that, in your experience of him, he is (in)famous for going awol erratically and for long periods,
in that, he being absent would be the rule and not the exception?
what i took as uncharacteristical is in fact characteristic of him?
gods i do know that for people who know each other very well, or the subject they are addressing, yes a silence can be all the answer necessary, a most meaningful silence, but....
i have to admit ignorance in both, zer0morph and his shall we say attendancy record, so what probably to you was a most meaningful silence, to me it went over my head and i have no idea what you meant by it and would go as far as to ask you to clarify.... begging your forgiveness in advance.
you strike me as both... no, thrice... no.... i would say self important, but definitely not as an insult, as it might be construed and probably very busy and probably very deep - i know a saying, placid waters mean lakes most deep, while wavy waters mean lake most shallow, your being so laconic strikes me as that, your objection to double posts and such make me think of the first two....
and i must insist, i do not mean self important an insult, i know very well that in other contexts, i would be pot calling kettel black, in some contexts i act the same way for those very same reasons, insultung you with something that i do would be most hypocritical.
and on that subject.... you know what? i am so much that in my real life that in here my pent up will to speak.... i vent. something that i feel the strange need to apologize to you for. (i know expressions like verboosity and even verbal diarrheia that people would apply to someone as long winded as i am being, people like you, in your case i would not be offended.)
also,
even though i quoted the saying about depths of lakes and silence, do not make the mistake of considering me shallow for speaking so much.
i have the feeling that short pithy answers can be extremely cryptic and ambiguous, so that, when i want to make something very clear, i feel the need to use a lot of words to, shall we say, corner the meaning of what i want to convey.
more on this later, suddently i find myself very busy at the moment

thank you for clarifying, didn't even cross my mind (and, is there a way to point to it? highlight it? like diffrent font? which my computer failed to...)
that the word reaction itself could be the hyperlink to the site where that reaction is displayed...

| which, karavolos,
answers a question you left hanging, something did go wrong, the word reaction didn't present itself as a... hook? as a hyperlink to what that reaction woud have been, and it didn't cross my min to check it...
that is laconic taken to extreme!!!
when dragatus did advise me to check it, i did check it, and did notice it, that it was.
then, i must thank you again, for having made the link more clear....

| kravolos,
your answer does justice to the motto one image is worth a thousand words, and i will have the extreme fair play to react to it as, i probably had it coming....
though i have already excused the source of my reaction excused no, explained, to claim ignoirance is no excuse to ignorance-fueled utterances of any kind apparently i do not know zer0morph nor his attendance to thois forum as well as i thought i did
still, beg for forgiveness...

| feral: aww, oww, ouch, och, i guess for a while i confused you with an actual kine's pet, you know, a dog, an actual one, forgot you are first and foremost a vampire, one that has the ability to shapeshift into, not a dog, the wild brother, the wolf, and do seem to prefer to spend most of your time in that form, but still you are a vampire.... i humbly beg my most earnest and profound apologies and forgiveness!!! but, you know what? by ways better left unconfessed, as well as its provenance, i just came by a blood bag of elder vitae, which i earnestly offer to you, both for the purpose the water and beef were meant, and by way of attempting to make ammends... | |

| getting back on topic,
i do have a couple of questions:
1 - i just dealt with the asian dude, and he left no loot upon its corpse. on previous iterations, you both got a crossbow (or ammo to such) and a serious heavy duty blade, an asian one. i was a bit taken aback but those items' lack.... maybe zer0morph clarified that in the introducing to TFN? the changes he did and why? still i will ask, what gives? was it a glitch? or how you redesigned that quest? and why?
2 - the barman at asylum used to be more chatty... was that vanilla, or CE, something not included or that you took out?
3 - sarah black - if i remember well, the twisted hunter you meet at obstruction of justice - seems kinda useless, do we have to visit her often for a relationship to develop?
4 - gods i had a 4th question that seems to have slipped my mind, will have to come back here later, but it just might be: what was the blade the asian dude left behind? its name?
i will own to the purpose of that question: cheat, use console to get it regardless...
4 -

| Forgive me, Velvet. I was wearing your soft skin pajamas and I fell asleep. I got the most restful sleep I've ever had and have just now awakened.
To answer your question about the gum, yes I took that out of TFN a few years ago. Now you can only make money off the stake and the blood bags, there is no gum.
1 - i just dealt with the asian dude, and he left no loot upon its corpse. on previous iterations, you both got a crossbow (or ammo to such) and a serious heavy duty blade, an asian one. i was a bit taken aback but those items' lack.... maybe zer0morph clarified that in the introducing to TFN? the changes he did and why? still i will ask, what gives? was it a glitch? or how you redesigned that quest? and why? Yeah I took out the lootable items given after you kill the asian vamp. I didn't want to give a Katana to the player so early in the game. That's really the only reason why his items aren't lootable.
2 - the barman at asylum used to be more chatty... was that vanilla, or CE, something not included or that you took out? The fat tattooed bartender in Asylum hasn't been touched. You can still talk to him about your woes and he just tries to ignore you, that part is still in the game.
3 - sarah black - if i remember well, the twisted hunter you meet at obstruction of justice - seems kinda useless, do we have to visit her often for a relationship to develop? Silvia Black has plenty to say if you get your persuasion high enough. You must persuade her to tell you her past and what she's all about, and if you can, you will earn XP for it. Plus she can reduce your Masquerade violations for a price dependent on Haggle.
4 - gods i had a 4th question that seems to have slipped my mind, will have to come back here later, but it just might be: what was the blade the asian dude left behind? its name? I'm not sure the name of it, you mean in vanilla or TFN?

| zer0morph, since the velvety pajama you fell asleep in was made out of my velvetine skin, consider it an arcane connection to me, it was as much or as well as you having fallen asleep and henceforth sleeping in my embrace, and i am so delighted that embrace provided you with such restfull sleep!!! would that.... no, nvmd... re your answers: i did find a most powerful and useful weapon in the vicinity oif where the gum used to be... i do understand the need to keep the game "balanced", threats proportional to your abilities (or vice versa) to make it more challengeable.... i did return to the barman and he did prove himself chatty... gods there i go, needing to cheat to get high persuasion (and probably haggle) to get the full worth of silvia black!!! and, you know what? i cheated for katana and got a ninjato and glad to have you back, helpful as only you can be!!! and loveable... | |

*sniffs the blood* 5th Generatin... Tzimisce... I guess I really don't want to know. *laps the blood up, wagging contentedly* none taken whatsoever, we, i mean members of my clan, are in-famous for such things as cognitive defficiencies that would lead to such absent-minded forgetfullnesses, or outright deceitful delusions that something as normal and run-of-the-mill as a mere gangrel vampire that chooses to spend most of his life in his shapeshifted form as a wolf could be confused for something as abnormal and aberrant as a freak-of-nature german shepherd dog. you probably would want to know even less that i elected to diablerize that elder, to totally drain him of his blood and prematurely inflicting on him a final death, to avoid getting you blood bound to someone who might be around to take advantage of that hold upon you.... so, please, by all means, enjoy to your heart's delight and content, it is most fullsomelly nutritious and quite free of secondary effects and assorted attachments of the same sort.
