i'm new here and i have german dvd version of game

hi, this is my first post,
my question is a new question ... maybe

i have a DVD version (english and german installation like CDs version)

but the game is just default updated with official 1.2 can i use camarilla 1.1 (or 1.2 on friday) ?

i ask this because i know that:
CE 1.1 and 1.2 comes already packaged with the Official Patch 1.2, and the Unofficial Patch 6.5.

i haven't installed nothing now, i'll wait answers before, thanks in advance

Hi, welcome on the board!

No problems there, I use the same version: DVD german, english, and (I think) french language version. Just install the game, selecting the english language option. Then install CE in your vampire base-directory and have fun!

It's a version for the german market. You often get that here a few years after the initial release. The game, plus manual as pdf-file only, on a DVD in a simple cover for usually 5 to 10 €.

I didn't want to imply that it's something illegal. Just that it's only a disc-cover without another box and with no printed manual. I got a "Green Pepper" edition, and I think you got something similar.

I'm stuck loading 3 CDs everytime I need to reinstall, kind've sucks, I'd love to have a DVD version of this.

you can find dvd version for less than 14 euros shipping included on amazon.de or ebay.com

that version is just 1.2 official patched by default installation (click on launcher and nothing else to do)
