| So we have consensus of the Antediluvians. No more discussion necessary... | |

Correct, this issue is laid to rest.

Salubri? Why did they not heal the eye? blargh. I always thought this was your way of placing the Inconnu into the game.

Salubri? Why did they not heal the eye? blargh. I always thought this was your way of placing the Inconnu into the game. So, I had a look at Silvia yesterday (btw: I now think more than ever that you should keep her as-is, her scar and eye look really great, in a 'oh-my-god-what-happened-to-you' sort of way) and I agree with malak - when I heard the dialogue, the first thing that came to my mind were the Inconnu, too. But that's probably a thing of interpretation, since she doesn't specify it in on purpose, so it's fine - in fact, it's good to leave some things hanging in the air. It makes sense for her not to spill the beans, whether on the Inconnu or Salubri, since both have an interest in not becoming involved in Kindred society, especially with the mayhem in LA at the time the game is set.

| Not to sound like a super noob, but who are the Inconnu? Maybe if someone can fill me in on this 'lore' stuff then I could change her back story. If they're interesting, maybe I could add them to the game, but right now I'm just not aware of who they are and what they're all about. | |

- The Inconnu is an extremely secretive sect of vampires. Virtually nothing is known for certain about them, but some of the most popular theories claim the group is a coalition of Methuselahs that exists to manipulate both the Camarilla and Sabbat from behind the scenes, made up entirely of ancients who have forsaken the Jyhad in order to pursue Golconda, or a powerful cult tied to the Antediluvians. Even the sect's age is disputed, with some believing it dates as far back as Rome. Â Whoever the Inconnu truly are, proof of their power is evident in the fact that they are able to remain so well hidden despite centuries of investigation and speculation. The only visible facet of the sect seems to be the Monitors, who watch vampiric events while avoiding direct interference.
Basically, they're the Illuminati of the WoD, only that nobody lower on the ladder than the Elders knows about them, if even they.

| So, in essence they either are the puppeteers of the jyhad, or an elaborate bubble of hot air. | |

| Not to mention having even one in a big city is not certain. They are extremely rare, but powerful and universally of low generation. Basically, Oradea Leauge for non Tzimisce, and far less isolationist. | |

| Thanks Eliza! Now I see why you thought she was an agent of the Inconnu, makes sense. I could easily go that way with her story, it's not too late. Should I make it so when creating new content with her? | |

| Eh, I really have no strong opinion on that matter. Personally, I'd like it most if you kept her background obscured - that makes it more interesting to speculate and guess, and since we're playing fledglings ingame (even if the bloodlines/clans are very rare), it makes more sense to me that she won't spill the beans to a week-old vampire, no matter how charming you are. If she were that easy to persuade, she'd be dead already. | |

| Lorewise, as a Ghoul of the Inconnu, she would have to be at least a century old. To spill the beans to a Fledgling? No way. Keep it obscured. | |

She's not a ghoul, she's human. She actually explains that in dialogue. - kyoden wrote:

Are you telling me you're not using an adblocker addon for your browser? How do you survive without that? All those damn popups and autoplays would give me headaches, it's become so bad with ads these days...

| yeah, if they able to either make the prince forgive/cover up a masquerade violation, or prevent him and the hunters from finding out in the first place, then they have A LOT of power to throw around. I would actually be behind a "if you kill her, we introduce you to the sunrise." approach. | |
