The sisters

i have 10 perspiration (only needed 5 in old version) but no matter what i do i can seem to save both of them, it always ends with one of them dieing.
dose Ce 1.5 remove the option to save them both? do i need a different skill to save them? or am i doing something wrong?

It's not just about the statistic, my friend, you have to make dialogue choices too, since the first time you met them. You have to treat them a special way so you can save them.

yes i know that, you must also give the pendent to Therese and during the finally dialog chose all the blue options, but there not even showing up
i did everything right up to and its still not working, and i did the same thing in vanilla and it worked but not in CE

How did you treat Jeanette ? How did you treat therese ? It's very specific to the choices you make at EVERYSINGLE dialogue.
What did the phone said, at the Diner? Who talked first ?

the only thing i didnt do this time round was threaten Therese(say you will kill her to end the fude)
other then that i was nice to both of them like always

Its not just about being nice, you also have to say "certainly", flatter them, and bash the other...

Open the dlg files and read them

I do it without Persuasion rised too high usually... It is easier with blue text, but it is not necessary. Treat them fair from the beginning, as Claudia put it.

I even think I saved them while being an absolute ass to both of them...
It's all about balance.

Yeah, I've found that it's a tricky balance during the final conversation, as well. You have to do your best to hear them both out.

I never thought to bash the other sister in order to suck up properly. .__. I feel so stupid. No wonder I still have problems with one or both when on my best behavior! My behavior has been too polite.

i know how to save them both iv done it 7 or 8 times, but in CE the same thing that worked 7-8 times now doesn't....
its not a question of how its a question of change in game brought on by CE 1.5

As far as I know Malkav ever even touched them.
Have you installed properly your game ? If you tried 7-8 times, did you create a new character each time ? Because saving both sisters starts when you first talk to Jeanette.

Have you tried uninstalling everything, then installed it again ?

it was 7(i remember now) different characters and they where all vanilla this 8th who is a CE, is the one im having the problem with.
and yes it is installed properly(i already went thru an improper installation)
but if it is as you said and the girls were untouched then i must have done something wrong along the lines
also i was reading the change logs and it said with 4 seduction i could sleep with Jeanette, this to has not come to pass(i seduced the crap out of her, shes my favorite character)

I don't think Malkav changed these dialogue files and I certainly didn't when I was running CE. Not sure why you can't, but all I can say is that I've saved them both w/ a Persuasion of 1. It's about being nice to both of them.

What exactly do you mean with vanilla? Just the official 1.2 patch? In that case it may be possible that changes were done by Wesp's unofficial patch, which is automatically included in CE.

however i had the unofficial patch at the time

If Zer0 hasn't touched the dialog with the sisters; then it is still the same as in vanilla. I'm not aware of any changes done by Wesp, and I would have seen them while merging the new versions of the patch into CE.
With at least 4 persuasion, I have always had the blue dialog options. And I distictively reemember a game where I saved both with less than 4 persuasion. It is entirely possible.

As for getting in bed with Jeanette. You need seduction 4, and of course you must be flattering to her at every encounter. Then you can do it before you set out on the slashterpiece quest. But only in TFN, CE, and the plus patch. It is not possible in plain vanilla at this point of the game, so I believe it's also not an option in the base patch.

BTW, what is your rank in the Clan? writing my advice I realised I do not know how many Circles of Mastery/Ranks you may actoually lo..., er, gain...

Acolyte, Apprentice, Regent, Lord, Pontifex, Councilor, Tremere

7 circles of mystery in each rank, and they don't have names (Apprentice of the 3rd circle, Lord of the 4th circle..) but they sometimes say "high" when the circle is 5th or higher (High Pontifex, High apprentice..)
