| I lol'ed.
Nah, I was trolling the two resident Gangrels we have stalking the forums. Namely Feral and Voraxith. Assuming the latter still isn't under the illusion of being a pretty Toreador.

| Beckett helps you with a Discipline right after you've blown up the Warehouse, assuming you have 1-2 points there. He will not teach you how to morph into the wolf, cuz a) vampire morphs into a bat-like OMNOMNOM with claws b) vampire is not a werewolf c) morphing is available when Discipline is maxed out to 5 points in it. | |

| I'm pretty sure he doesn't teach you after blowing up the warehouse since last I played a Gangrel he said something like "Skill in the Protean discipline will come in time, young one". On the other hand I know that he can give you one point in one of the three Gangrel disciplines of the Clan Quest mods, unsure of the relation between that and the rest of the Bloodline ways. | |

| I know there's a wolfform transformation in pen and paper that does not exist in Bloodlines. I know some mod wanted to implement it (Was it true protean mod ?) but it's not CE.
In CQM, Beckett raises your Protean level if you manage to do his quest.
I don't really play Gangrel.

| Beckett is a vampire historian (of sorts). Once you meet him the timer ends and the warehouse blows up (4 XP). Talk to him and if you're a Gangrel you'll have some more conversation options. Afterwards you'll be transported back to Tung. Ask anything you'd like to know and leave. - from vanilla's walkthrough.
I've played a Gangrel of sorts when I was at 1 point in Protean so he upgraded me to the second point. I'm pretty sure I saw some file where I read that he helps with "Gangrel Discipline which is the lowest in the moment", though I'm not sure... bring a Nossie to conquer the Google and a cookie to be my slave!

| And in Pen and Paper, you can turn into two different animals ; both should be predators, one is "small and flies", and the other is "four legged and stronger". Usually, it's bat and wolf, but for some, it's crow, condor, rapace, and any big predator (coyote, hyenas, many big cats). Fifth level enables mist form, which is.. uber overpowered. First level allows you to see in total darkness, second level allows feral claws, third allows you to become earth, melding into some random park anywhere and protects you from the sun. Then it turns into madness. Protean, means "shapeshifting" | |

| xD Usually, the "land predator" form is something linked to the general consciousness of the wild of the Gangrel. A native american may turn into a coyote instead of a wolf, and people living in Yucatan may turn into a panther. It's kind of linked to who "they are" | |

| Hmm... but you know... someone told me some time ago somewhere in the fields that some creepy GanGAL named Arthur Doyle... maybe... ahem. So this person could shapeshift into a dinosaur! And he even wrote a book about the hidden Dinosaur Land... named "The Last Word", as I recall... maybe his last word was "DINOSAURS!"? But nobody messed up with him so they all think it's not true! | |

Libellus sanguinus quotes bears, boars, hyenas, tigers... For airborne section owls, bats, crows, falcons, ravens... But what you said: it all depends on what the new Gangrel expected to turn into. For non-Gangrel, sorry... Wolf and bat. Not even Gangrel know why.

| Afaik, Becket only teaches you one level in one of the Gangrel disciplines if you still have one of them at 2, or even below 2, I'm not sure now, when you meet him again in the tower. For the warform, CE now (1.5) incorporates the wolfform by Raptor Red. You can also select that one in cqm, or download it from PV and install it on any version of the game you are currently playing. I believe TFN also has it, but only for npcs, as there is no player usable protean. - | |

| Sethies have something similar with Serpentis rank 3, but it would not make much sense to make them a wolf. | |

Nope, it's more froglike, judging by the color and that funny movement you get with clawed forms. -

| Feral, judging by the hair of that cat, you should really check the insulation of your electric sockets. Btw, what does it hunt? Wolves or wild boars? - | |
