Whenever a cat comes near me it goes a bit mental and claws the shit out of me. I put it down to not having a good enough animal ken stat but dogs are fine with me >>

Well, true, Ettinarius is right.
You need to look at ears and tail too. As long as ears aren't flat on the skull and tail high erect, you are OK. Most of the time, at least.

As for Malkav... Don't worry. (un)dead wolves don't pee.

If you can see the werewolf, you are doing the whole not-being-near-werewolves thing wrong.
