question about the blood timer

i just started the game and wanted to test how the blood timer works i read that after a while it kills you but when i make character and start game i dont lose any blood and neither do i die if i spend it all did i install the mod incorrectly? i only installed the main game and this mod nothing else

The blood timer only starts working once you get to Santa Monica. During the tutorial it isn't activated yet.

And it doesn't kill you. But when you get hungry enough, frenzying as soon as you get to a populated area is almost guaranteed. Along with humanity loss and masquerade violation for feeding in public and killing an innocent.

Which in the end will lead to hunters hunting you which leads to death if you can't beat them or get 5 masquerade violations and loose that way

Or since it's TFN we're talking about, you lose all your humanity and die that way.

So you have a good chance for final death if you go hungry. But it won't kill you by itself
