Nyx pulled up in front of the shop, she eyed her surroundings for a moment before parking up properly. She kicked the stand out when she was parked close to the other scooter and reached out to touch it for a moment.

Looks like we're on time.

She waited for William to get off before removing herself from the scooter.

Walking up towards the not so closed gate, he looks at Nyx.
"So... we just knock, or... get inside?"

Nyx followed William a step behind him.

I assume so.

She steps to one side and knocks on the door.

There's some movement inside the store. As they get closer the neonates notice that indeed they could lift the "closing grill", as it wasn't locked. After the knock, a masculine voice shouts a "Yeah, come in !" from what could be further back in the room.

William shrugs and tries to lift up the grill after placing his cane on the floor, almost failing miserably.
"UGH... THIS IS A LOT HEAV---"
Managing to lift it open, he almost stumbles back onto the floor before he catches himself.
"YER- Woah... Phew. After you."

He bends down to pick his cane up one more and straightened out his suit and followed Nyx, whom he let in first since the person inside is probably her contact.

Nyx tries to catch William before he stumbled too far back.

Careful, I don't think your Primogen would forgive me if you got squished.

When William had sorted himself out she cautiously opened the door popping her head in before stepping inside.

Comes out a fairly young man, maybe in his twenties in jeans and tshirt, with black semi long hair, and big glasses. He's a bit fat. And he is very well alive.
(Man) Hey, who sent you ?

He loos distrustful.

Nyx watched the man for a long moment before she replied verbally.

Pierre.

She seems equally distrustful as he does.

The distrust fades off and with a smile (with braces), the man indicates they can enter further.
(Man) Alright ! I'm P.A. Close behind you. You need some film, izzdat right ? You know how to do it ?

Nyx stepped inside at his invitation, she holds the door open for William to enter as well but doesn't reply until the door is firmly closed behind him.

No, can't say film developing is my areas of expertise...

William shrugs.
"I know the theory behind it but I've never actually tried it."

The guy looks disappointed, pulls a face, then leads them inside with a shrug.
(PA) Obviously. Alright I'll do it. You got the film ?

Once given the film, and once in the red lighted rooms, PA opens the roll and gives a glance at the negatives, before putting them in the automatic machine.
(PA) How many sets you want ?

Nyx dutifully passed them over and followed behind him.

Um, four copies? I think that should be enough.

The guy takes the number, pushes a couple of buttons, and they wait until the pictures are ready.
(PA)... So.. you guys are friends with Pierre?

"Well, since my associate is a friend of Pierre, does that make me a friend of a friend who is there if I need a friend??"
William said with a mild smile.

Nyx watched the Kine unblinkingingly for a long minute, before she could respond William did, she didn't seem to care either way.

He gives me jobs, don't get much time to just chat with him.

PA nods, becoming again a little distrustful.
(PA) Oh, ok. Well that's.. good I think. Ah !

As the first pictures come out, the guy gives a glance at the first ones, and then puts them in fitting photo holders, like in the old days.
(PA) Seems like they were a bit over exposed but I don't think you're in for perfect artistic pics, right ?

It seems the photos didn't reveal anything shocking or odd. After having made the four little packs, he hands them over and adds, with a smile.
(PA) That'd be 20€.

William rolled his eyes at Nyx and stepped forward while taking his wallet from his pocket. Taking a 20 euro note, he exchanged the folders for the money.
"Thanks. And don't mind my friend, she isn't a people person. See ya."

He finished and made his way towards the exit, expecting Nyx to follow while he inspected the pictures.

Nyx reached into her pocket but William beat her to it. She gave an easy shrug of her shoulders at her companion's comment of her social skills.

True enough.

Immediately she turned to follow William out of the building without another word.

PA takes the money and pockets it with a nod.
(PA) A-right have a nice evenin'

He smiles and lets them leave without much care, getting back to whatever he was doing.


The pictures represent several kindred, probably without their knowledge ; in el Bodegon, in public places. Rapidly, William recognizes Emilio, Suzanne and Jerome, as well as Catherina. Nyx will also notice Franz and Adriano Guicciardini, as well as Eric Artevelt and Armand Colin.

ST:

William frowns and once outside he turned to face Nyx.
"I really hope these pictures were taken by our kind of people. If you get my drift. These seem to contain mostly Harpies, if these are from your friend, I think he got caught in some sticky business that went over his head. Possibly got dealt with in a clean up?"

Nyx peeked at the photos over William's shoulder.

I figured he'd gotten into something bad but I thought it would have been Lambert... The Harpies are unexpected though.
