Almost called William, but Nyx was the one watching the doors (with Fred); plus Duncan had no way of knowing she was talking to Pierre.  Glad he hung up when he did.

Say, I suppose Duncan's careful to avoid blood traces and brains on the stairs, uh ?

He knows how hard it is to remove those pesky bloodstains, so yeah. That's assuming the blood spatter from the head shot didn't already mark him, of course.

Yeah, it did, not enough to be super obvious visible (especially since you're wearing dark clothes), but your presence did bother the usual blood stains that should have been on the ground.. So if the police goes CSI on the scene, they'll notice there was someone else (and that it wasn't legit defense, and in France, running after someone and shooting at them with a gun isn't legal XD)

Of course the Prince should be able to make the police close their eyes on a murder attempt against himself... but yeah, a kindred thirsty enough will notice you were in contact with fresh body juicy fluids

Well, the only other choice would have been to not go up the stairs, so oh well. I suppose another trip to the haven is called for.

It was an accident, officer. I was just cleaning my bow, and the arrow must have gone off... No idea how that could happen.
Btw, when I read this part of the topic, I also thought France isn't Texas.
