| William could have taken it almost-literally. :-p Besides my entire sentence also implies speculation. Besides, I barely read what was going on there since I tend to avoid reading the other topics atm to avoid these situations exactly. | |

| I know, I don't blame you three I'm just a little sad that I've got to haunt players so they do their freaking job as committed players >_< | |

| It's not a job, it's a hobby >_> And I am the kind of person who cannot write anything at all if I don't have the right amount of inspiration for it. Sometimes I step back, do some other types of games with other people and other friends (sorry Claudia, but you're not my only friend! Please don't kill me....no, NO, put that AWAY! I'm not going to be a Tremere Ritual Experiment!), so I can basically refill the inspiration (and, yes, motivation.) for this game. And sometimes that takes longer than expected, and I start to feel bad for that, which only makes it more difficult for me to return. It's simply how my brain works, and I'm sorry. | |

I don't know about Estela, but you definitely sound Toreador. No, this isn't a job. But group hobbies entail a level of commitment to your fellow players. If you play football (soccer to me), even if it's only for recreation, and too few people show up to a game, then the game is called off and people go home disappointed. In too many games? Then a choice has to be made. I won't talk about motivation... that's your business, and if you're not having fun, stop playing. Yes, things are moving slowly right now... but Bloodywolf would probably post several times a day if he weren't waiting on a response. Claudia usually responds within a day, unless she's taking finals. The game moves as fast as we make it move. From my viewpoint, a post every couple of days, and a TeamSpeak session once a month (two months this time, due to rowdy visiting Belgicans) doesn't seem to be excessive. Earlier this month, I was unable to post for almost a week, due to being in the hospital. As it turned out, not much had happened, so I didn't miss anything; but I still felt bad. If I had been out longer, I would have contacted Claudia and told her to put Duncan on 'other business' for a while, or run him as an NPC, until I returned. Common courtesy. I hope you can keep playing. Estela's an interesting character. Chris is kind of annoying, but I haven't met him since he was played by someone else. So maybe he's a totally different level of annoying now. (I just remember thinking he was rather chatty for a Gangrel... and a bit condescending to neonates.)

| XD Wrong Chris, Duncan. The Gangrel is Chriss with two S (that's because Nacht's Chris is for Christopher, while Chriss is for Christian ^^ that and that's how Fla wrote it anyway) I'm sorry I kinda yelled at you, Nacht, but between you and Vora, I kinda get sad and disappoint too. Duncan explains it very well anyway so I won't go further. I know about "getting into the mood", I understand that perfectly, dude, I'm DATING Lyle ! But everyone must create characters they must be able to embody. As Philo said about Mikael, he needed to channel his inner jerk, but other than that, there's no huge bloquage or anything If you can't use the tool you create, it's a little useless :/ Sure I've got a harder time portraying very smart characters, or charismatic ones, or ones with high expression, that's why I "cheat" and say "he's turning his phrases in a very interesting way" (Yeah, I mean Gregory XD). But I've got around 120 "sheeted" characters, so I've got an excuse :p | |

Belgians. I know. My little joke (very little). Sometimes Texans (the 'un-edjicated' ones) call themselves 'Texicans', since we are close to Mexico. - Claudia wrote:

Wrong Chris, Duncan. The Gangrel is Chriss with two S Smile I wondered about the two s. I've only been glancing at Nachtrae's posts with Chris, not reading through them, since Duncan wasn't there. I didn't know it was a different character. I'll have to look closer. On a side note... Fred, Frederic, Chriss, Chris... too confusing.

| It's not illogical to have characters with the same first name. In France, until the sixties, you couldn't pick a first name that was not in the calendar (basically ; that, or using an ancestor's name) I know it can get confusing, but don't worry ! | |

| Yeah yeah. If you're going to confuse the argument with facts, I'm going to change the subject.
So what clan is Chris (one 's') then? He's not in the 'New Kindred and characters of interest' thread.

| I was asking OOC anyway... my character doesn't even know he exists yet. Although if you're present when someone is presented to the Prince, and he scolds them for claiming to be a clan not their own, that's a hint and a half. The same goes for a public conversation with the Sheriff, where he talks about someone's sire. Not that I'm talking about anyone in particular, mind you. Just speaking in general. | |

| Carrion has already changed her voice and appearance in front of Duncan; a different voice on the phone would be no surprise. However, it might cause him to test her, by mentioning something that only Carrion knows. | |
