One round of walking on a single lego, and you'd know.

Just so everyone knows, Mythbusters did prove a thick book like a bible or a phone book, or harry potter and the order of the Phoenix, are capable of stopping a bullet. In case we're getting another theatre invade event anytime soon.

They may stop a bullet, but since Corinna is present, she'll rip your head off if you damage a book like that. So no, you can't escape.

Don't worry, I'll use 3 copies of 50 shades of red that I keep finding in the Tremere library under your desk taped together.

Yes, because all Kindred keep a copy of the bible inside their clothing, to stop bullets.
What happens if the bullet is armor piercing, and penetrates enough to put paper bits into the Kindred's heart? Is that enough wood to paralyze? Same problem with keeping a stake hidden in your vest pocket... someone shoots you, and it goes through the stake and puts splinters into your heart. Not good.
Better to leave the book at home, and not chance it.

That argument works in an endless loop.
What, your bullet's can't penetrate the tank? Well guess what, I bet my anti-tank missile can!
I'm just saying, the average hoodlum Joe isn't going to be carrying armor piercing rounds. And when you don't wanna catch that bullet with your skull and you happen to be near a good sized book, what'cha gonna do? Use that motherfucker! Why? Cause Wolfy told ya!

Someone shooting at your Kindred body? Charge them. You're a moving target, and your charge will unnerve them. Besides-- If they hit you, what of it? As the rulebook says, "Guns mean nothing to a lifeless heart."
If I see a book, I'll toss it to you and watch you attempt to take cover behind it. Should be good for a laugh.

You have time for a lawsuit while under fire?

If I see a book, I'll throw it at the attacker to distract them. And use the time to get close enough for a drink...

Dat Sims music. First thing I thought was that these were headsets, and I immediately wanted one. Then again ... not much brain activity while I'm gaming, anyway, so what's the point?
