2013: Heart attack, big medical bills, unemployed, cataract surgery, diagnosed as diabetic - this year sucks ass. Only way to redeem 2013 is if I win the lottery before the New Year, so I can pay things off.
To all those who say "At least you're alive" -- f#@k off. Does that sound bitter? See previous answer, and repeat sideways. If you had a great 2013, good for you. As Jack would say, "Yeah great, congrats. Now keep it to yourself."

2013 has been pretty sucky, indeed. Mandela dead, bunch of movie directors dead, I'm having issues with health insurance (just lots of paper work that will take ages). I'm struggling with my stupid pre-thesis paper due and trying to finish it up before due date so I can apply for doctorate degree.. And end up like Feral
Hopefully I'll pull through and get the contract, buuut on the other hand, there are budget cuts in my faculty so getting the contract will be harder... ><
I hope 2014 will bring us all good news

Diabetes is a bitch, it's not curable, and it degenerates and affects every single part of your body. When we moved together he managed to carry down a washing machine to outside (so, two storys) and carry up a 6feet tall fridge. Now he has a hard time walking those stairs (but his eyes have no problems whatsoever ; we'll see ^^)
