Btw, has this discussion found a way into every single topic on this forum? Shall I provide a link to Tess' site? Nooooo....! We have enough problems as it is... Honestly, I am surprised too that so many people are interested in my hole choices, but whatever makes you all happy. *mass hugs*

| I think it has something to do with how quiet the palce has been lately. It makes the one bit of news stand out, even if the news itself really isn't anything special. | |

Why don't you go to a furry forum? Looks like you're the only one who can't cope with that. Quite funny. The one who calls himself "The Philosopher" seems to be the most narrow minded witch hunter on the forum. -

You have the belief that open-mindedness is a good quality in and of itself. Open-mindedness is useful when you are introduced to a new idea. You then analyze that idea without bias, and reach to a conclusion. Open-mindedness without the process of analysis and conclusion is mental masturbation. It is especially dangerous when open-mindedness without analysis reaches the point of being the status quo, just as dangerous as when shaming those who progress into the other steps becomes part of it. Just like Plato analyzed that, in order to create the best possible society, the poets and artists had to have their messages controlled and censured in order to not corrode the unity of the city, I analyzed and concluded that the health and quality of a forum can only be so great as the enviroment as it finds itself in. Such enviroment is directly related to the quality of opinions held in that forum, which can only be so great as the quality of the people delivering them. When a forum is not invitation-based, the forum is open to the cesspolls of human trash that wander the internet: furries, bronies, pedophiles, creeps, and worst of all, tumblr feminists. If said forum has a set of enforced behaviors one must adhere to, a certain percentage of human trash might be saved and reformed into a functioning entity. If not, the forum itself shall be swarmed by these individuals, who will then proceed to destroy or create a grotesque caricature of what it's purpose once was. It is therefore the philosopher's job, one who can see things clearly and is not bound by the status-quo of "open-mindedness without analysis", to set and enforce the behaviors that will grant the quality and health of the forum. - TL;DR I just like to RP an old bugger, and I find Feral's excessive dog RP to be genuinely a bit disturbing.

| Yo Philo, I'm starting to really dislike you. You seem to take on Hitler-esque qualities and beliefs, and to my German mind which is excessively sensitive to these things, your recent posts start to simply sound like 'NOPE NOPE NOPE DO NOT GO THERE GET OUT ASAP'. Feral is harmless enough to jest about things that are probably sensitive spots/topics and not be offended by you so far, so hit the brake on your intolerant 'human trash' train, mkay? | |

Feral jests about it because he understands I'm joking. It's a joke, calm your nazi-fearing tits. Granted, if people get their TRAUMAS triggered by that, maybe we should stop, since a joke that actually offends is not a joke. So Feral, now we're a married couple. I top.

| Thanks Eliza. Well, all leftists are a touch totalitarian, aren't they? Socialists especially, be it national variety (like NSDAP), or international (communist) one. Choice of perspective and philosopher quoted in Philo's post is quite telling here. Do not worry, I will give him time... It is quite common among young people to think one has possessed all the wisdom in the world. Usually it passes within a few years.
Philo, pry tell me, have you been reading Hegel recently? Your conviction of own superiority and clearly irresistible urge to regulate others lives would indicate so?

| To be honest, Philo's long post had a certain Goebbels like quality in my opinion. And I will not be easily convinced of something else. Especially your reply to Eliza has, if anything, made me feel worse about you and your recent behaviour.
Feral, I think I agree with your meaning, but surely we have differences with regards to the definition of left/right and social/socialism.

Feral, I think I agree with your meaning, but surely we have differences with regards to the definition of left/right and social/socialism. Don't worry, I am sure we could work it out. It would be easier than with Philo. I never bottom for younger guys Besides, how came I have overlooked whole page 7 when reading page 6 and answering to Philo's long post? OK, Philo, we sake hands. I got it you were not entirely serious in your posts, but honestly, what have you been reading recently to give you such inspiration?

| No. Fuck this.
I won't have people saying I'm like Hitler, talking about my "behaviour" when I put a fucking FYI on the very same post, and followed it up with another one explaining it; that they think I'm actually serious that I'm like Goebbels and no matter what I say I won't convince them otherwise (Or that I'm "not entirely serious")

| Dafuq happened here ? *last paper due, 56 pages in, gotta get opinions and finish redaction* I don't care about anyone's political opinions since I'm in a vtmb mod forum (and not in an ideologically-themed forum), and yes I do discuss politics with whoever wants to, and I bet most of you guys know I'm "mostly left winged", but please let us try and keep it out of our hobby (discussing VTMB, playing Malkav and Zero super mods, playing some RP too). It's hard to get tone, sarcasm and serious from the forum posts (especially from philo and jad :p ) considering I, Feral, Malkav and Eliza aren't even native speakers :p You guys beleive whatever you want, let's just all stay good buddies okay ? It's not like we're full blown out friends, we're just good pals and community | |
