People keep saying that for success you don't need talent or a handsome face, just hard work like it's supposed to make me feel better. But to a gifted, handsome, lazy bastard like me that's really not very comforting.

I picture Draggy as a Sheldon-type. He can work for 20 hours straight but if someone puts his pen outside the usual spot he has a rage-spasm and foams through his mouth.

Well, if you idea of work is playing games then sure, I can work for 20 hours straight. Especially if it's a new one. And you leave my pen out of this, mister!

Even if we could, I don't think immortality would help our overpopulation issue.

The cannibalism video could help with that.

Longetivity would indeed have a negative effect on overpopulation, but the solution to that is to stop making babies. That would be a challenge in undeveloped nations, but people there won't be able to afford revitalization anyway. And in the most developed nations reproductio nrates are already really low. Japan is one of the more extreme cases, where only about 15% of the population is aged 14 or less and about 25% of the population is aged 65 or higher.

I'd give the first video a 4/10 or a 5/10, maybe.
To say the United States is rich and powerful today merely because of his geography is something extremely stupid. Case in point: Almost anything that can be said of USA's geography can also be said of Brazil.
To make no comment of the colonization type, of the religious belief of the people that went there, of the zero burocracy, of the institutions and policies of the country, is simply idiotic.
For example: Colonization type: Families would go there to start anew, no one really cared much about the USA until 1900s. Everyone was reasonably equal, allowing greater trade.
Religious belief: The effects of the protestant faith and it's importance to capitalism has been already analised to the extreme.
Zero Burocracy: There were almost no restrictions to someone if he wished to invest in making his own factory or enterprise, since the English Crown was far away and did not give much of a shit until the USA got very rich
Institutions and policies: The geography of the USA helped to make british prices soar, it is true. But there are periods of USA's history that it accepted free market trade with the British, and what happened in those periods? Massive destruction of the factories and enterprises of the USA, since even after crossing the ocean the british products were better and cheaper. Only after the USA had become the most productive country in the world that it started preaching (but not practicing) free market trade.
Read Friedrich List National System, read Douglass North Institutions. This video only gives 30, maybe 40% of the reason the USA is where it is today.
