| So,
I try to come up or dig up some old ideas I had for TFN 1.3. I hope at least some of them are interesting. Of course not all of them will suit all players.
At the construction site (Click and Zoom me) some smugglers/criminal meeting could be inserted at a later point in the game. Maybe Mercurio (via Email) or Jimmy Reed (voice acting needed) ask for this special task as a new crew/sabbat supporters/etc try to sell some item there.
The entry way is sealed IRC, but it should be easy to send a key to a spot where the player can pick it up and therefore reopen the gate.
The encounter (which only consist of mortals - but well armed and positioned) could be solved in multiple ways. - Hack and Slay your way. If you win = 1 XP and some snappy comment about the ruthless behavior. - Sneak your way into the construction trailer and get the item. 1+1 XP for non-lethal approach. Proper patrol routes need to be set up for this to be interesting, maybe even with flashlights for a visual sneaking aid. Again some aftermath or consequence for the smugglers could be added in another email. - Move in and try to talk your way into the deal. The smugglers don't really know who to expect. Maybe some clues about the agreed upon codeword or which person they expect could be inserted in the email or conversationwith mercurio. Certain skill levels could help in this conversation of course.
The player also has the choice to give the item back (insert it somewhere) and recieve the XP + Cash etc or keep it. What item it could be, is open for discussion, but it should be something worthwhile and hack and slay should certainly be a hard option. Especially as this happens later in the game and a combat character should have a decent amount of xp and powergain by then. Adding some hunters instead (again, mercurio email) could be a possible enemy there as well if you don't like the other options. Talking the item over will be harder though.

| I totally agree that the ocean house should be revisited in TFN as a later quest. I had some ideas about this and it's great to see others are thinking along the same lines. One of my ideas was that Silvia Black wants you to investigate the zombies being raised in the cemetery. Later you find that the source is coming from Gimble's place. You head there to see that Gimble is back as an undead monster. You face him and a hoard of undead, after defeating him you find evidence of the source behind it coming from the Ocean House hotel. You head there to find a rogue Giovanni has been the one raising hell. You fight him with another hoard of undead and report back to Silvia.
Problem with this is that we need Mindy Chan to do Silvia's voice and it would take awhile for me to set this quest, assuming I could reach her.
Another idea for the Ocean House was that you receive an email from Therese telling you that a Tzimisce has taken the building as a base of operations. This Tzimisce has been releasing his monstrosities into the sewers of Santa Monica and threatens to take the town over. After battling through the sewers, you find the key to get you into the Ocean House and battle him, earning experience and Therese's good favor. Maybe you could earn an occult item, cash, or armor, something along those lines. Maybe a new haven in Santa Monica suites across from Mercurios' place or something. I dunno, but the Ocean House definitely needs revisited.

| Random thought for it: Nosferatu antitribu warren. Tung gets word that they are setting up, and wants them gone. Even allows you to reuse some of the 'haunted' elements. Is this place still haunted, or did a hidden Nossy just through that lamp at me?
Biggest problem I see with revisiting is the issue of the necklace. If Jeanette is dead and hid it, or Therese is dead, then who found the exorcist and got rid of the ghost?

Perhaps in that case the ghost is being just as annoying for the Nosferatu as well. Perhaps in that case the only way to deal with the problem is to kill all of the Nosferatu inside, and then do what the fire didn't - burn the building down completely. Once you do that, maybe there will be one loose end to tie up - if the ghost now wants revenge, then you will need to have some way to harm the thing conventionally. This could possibly be learned from Beckett, or maybe something you would have to ask Strauss about. Perhaps this might make the quest have two bosses, but if the fight with the nossie leader is more of a stalling game, meaning that you attack it to a point, but then the ghost finishes it off.

| Hmm,
I don't know. I personally wouldn't reopen solved quests (at least to some degree). The haunted house is solved (or can be too dependend on your decisions).
I therefore would be more interested in the Giovanni/Zombie things as this was never really solved.
I wouldn't use the 'monstrosities for anything really new, like a new Tzimi in town. For an aftermath yes. For something comepletly new, no. It just feels "used" again, because there is nothing else we could think of.

| That gave me the idea of a boss fight where you pick sides. It would look just like the garage gang fight, the quest given by Fat Larry, but this time you pick a team. If you support A, you get money, if you support B, you get the Item. If you kill everybody, which probably is very hard, you get both! Since it's a gang deal or something, there's still the option to just talk it off peacefully.
Support either A or B: if persuassion is below 7, the fight against the enemy team is inevitable. Else, you peacefully solve the problem and get the quest rewards (XP + supporting reward).
