How Antitribu ripped off TFN and is lying to their fans about it (Locked)

Marvin is such a piece of shit. He's been undermining TCI since 2009 when I told him I didn't want him on the team. This time, he waits for the release announcement of TFN and then a few days later decides to release Antitribu 2 days before us. What an asshole, figured he would do something like this.

Then he made some untrue statements on Facebook about us.


Supported and helped our brothers with TFN? Bullshit, he's done nothing but undercut us at every turn. Playing TFN is like playing a piece of Antritribu, HAHA, how do you figure that?!?! We shared stuff along the way?!?! No we didn't, I hate you and wouldn't share anything with you and you won't share anything with me. OMG I hate this kid.

And just so everyone knows, RavaFX is NOT a company, it's Marvin by himself pretending to be a company. It's more smoke and mirrors, nothing more. I really hope when Antitribu is released full of bugs and people see that it's nothing like what they expected, the community will finally see through his lies and will move on. But then again, people are stupid by nature and will probably swallow any garbage they're given.

Ahhhh, I feel so much better getting that off my chest. I've been wanting to say that for years over this douche bag. My Brujah rant is done, thank you for listening. I'll get back to work now, making a real mod.

And just let the record show that I have the utmost respect for real modders like Wesp, Malkav, Burgermeister, Dheu, AtrBlizzard, and the wonderful things that Signothorn is doing over at PlanetVampire. My problem lies with one person, nothing more.

Sounds like Marvin is Tessera's evil twin. And I thought Tess was the worst thing ever to happen to bloodlines.

Here's what he does. Marvin can't mod worth shit, he proved that to me years ago when he asked me to join Antitribu and basically create it FOR him. I told him if he wanted to create a Bloodlines mod he needed to do what all the rest of us have done, LEARN HOW TO DO IT.

So instead of learning, like I told him, he ran around trying to get anyone who would join his 'team' to create it for him. He recruited some real talent too, like Lenuska and friends to basically create Antitribu for him, while he reaped the rewards and glory of it. I'll admit, Marvin is great at advertising, clearly, but that's all he knows how to do, he can't actually mod anything.

Another problem I have with him is that he's in it for the glory, not for player satisfaction, and he doesn't want to do any of the manual labor or do the work required to make a good mod, he wants somebody else to do it for him. That kind of thing burns me up. And he has no honor, he lies, undercuts other mods, talks shit but does so quietly so he doesn't look bad. He's a snake, a Setite if you will, and I can't stand him.

I just wish people would stop paying attention to his garbage and ignore him like I have, but unfortunately people are stupid and eat up his BS. I mean, his 'mod' has been in development for 5 years? Really? And he's disappointed everyone how many times, and yet they still stick with him? Sheep. Oh well, pity on them, they'll be disappointed on Feb. 5th and I'll just sit back and watch it all unfold.

Well, that's why I compared him to Tess: take all you can find somewhere, claim it is your invention, and accuse the original creator of theft...
As for the advertising, i don't know what kept people so exited. I've looked more or less frequently on his ModDB page, but couldn't find anything new or interesting there. Of course as time went on, I took it for granted that Antitribu will never be released. I'll probably look on the Antitribu page on ModDB on February 5th, 2115, and still read: to be done
He even reproted me to the moderators and had my comment removed when I expressed doubts about their release before Armageddon on ModDB.

I've been following this community since 2006, probably, and that Antitribu guy has always been around, claiming how he's going to make the best mod of all, basically an expansion, with new quests, models, gameplay mechanics, storylines and what not.
Maybe you're correct that *this* has been in development for 5 years, but I'm more than positive that I've been listening to this a lot longer than that.

I doubt he'll ever release something and even if he does, it won't be nearly as good as what he's been promising to everybody throughout all those years.

I know next to nothing about modding, but what I know is that most of you modders are a team of 1-2 people. This antitribu mod has always been a team of supposedly 10 people, yet nothing has ever been released.

I remember seeing a video a couple of years ago, about his mod having NPC cast active disciplines. Has he shared that with anyone? What has he shared exactly?

I didn't realize he's been a douche bag that long, I stand corrected. But you're right, he's been promising a Bloodlines 2 with a brand new story, everything for 5 years, and I know he can't deliver. It will be funny to watch on Feb. 5th all the disappointed faces, if he evens releases it at all.

No, in fact I emailed him after watching that video to ask how they did that, and how cool it was. He told me that it was his secret and if I wanted to know, I'd have to give him TFN and start working for him. That's when I realized what kind of child I was dealing with, and I've hated him ever since. He's never shared anything with anyone, and what's funny is that he's not even the one who figured out how to do it, he just piggy backs on the knowledge of others.

This picture is taken directly off of Marvin's new "RavaFX" forum page. Another example of his lies to fans about The Final Nights, saying that TFN used Antitribu's assets that we shared 3 years ago. We've never used anything of his nor have we ever shared. Read what Belnara asked Marvin, and read his lying response. What a piece of shit.

Word of advise, Zer0. Let it go. Make sure that your friends (the entire TCI community) and the rest of the modders know. That's enough.

You can't sue him and he's the kind of toxic person that's only going to turn good people against you through his foul lies.
In the end you'll somehow turn out to be the guy that prevented the absolutely amazing, unique and out of this world, Antitribu mod get released. You'll be shutting down his amazing mod (that's not ready and never will be in the first place) and people will focus their frustration and disappoint me towards you, instead of him.

You've just give him another excuse to not release the mod on the said date and nobody outside of our forums will know the true story.

We all know what you and Malkav have done for this community as we've seen you work hard for more than 6 years. However, there are people who do not. So be careful what you say, especially on Planet Vampire.

Be careful with that Mc.c9 guy. He will most definitely try to turn this community against each other. It's dangerous to play with people's desires and everybody knows how fanatically this community loves Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.

Wise words Yami, however I've already spoken to Signothorn and Wesp over at Planet Vampire and ArtBlizzard was talked too by Signothorn, and they are all aware of what Marvin's doing, and they aren't real happy about it. As I stated in my letter to him, I can't sue him so we won't even talk about that, however I can make all of our fans know of what he's doing by promoting it here and on our ModDB site. We get over 500 views per day at ModDB plus we have 10-40 guests on here 24/7 so it's just a matter of time before people read it. And to be honest, if after reading what he's done people are still upset at me for hindering Antitribu, who really cares, they're sheep and they don't matter.

Marvin has a strong following of idiots, the die hard fans are going to stay loyal to him because they're stupid so I'm writing them off. As long as the real players know what's going on, and they already do, then we're fine. We'll always have TCI and it's members will always have a home here, and the staff at Planet Vampire have been very supportive to me and the TCI community and know what Marvin's done, so I feel good about the whole thing. I don't feel I need to take this any further. Though I will advertise the Cease and Desist letter on the ModDB page but only if he releases Antitbru with our assets and resources. If he doesn't release Antitribu or he removes our assets, then there's no problem, I'll let it die. He can lie to his fans about TFN, CE, TCI, or anything else and I won't care, just as long as he's not using our work.

Personally I think very little to no one at antitribu's been "community sharing" > like, they expect everyone to be open source about their mod but they themselves don't want to be.
Methinks lenuska who makes aaaawesome models needs some more love and needs their models to be everywhere

I'm a real sweetheart but when I see an injustice happen to an innocent, I instantly rage and Troile's blood begins to boil inside me. When CCP attacked Project Vaulderie and shut it down for no reason other than that they could, I instantly went into Brujah mode and cried out. Then when I saw Marvin move the release date up by over 2 weeks just to undercut TFN's release, then when told not to do that, he spouted off some crap about me and did it anyways. Then I started researching and reading the lies that TFN uses Antitribu resources and they helped design TFN, etc... my blood began to boil again. Then when I saw he stole some of my personal artwork and lied about it when confronted, well that was the last straw.

So yeah, I'm a sweetie, but don't attack innocent modders trying to create something cool for the community, but shutting it down for no reason (CCP) or lying, cheating, and stealing (Marvin). I'll always stand up for the little guy who gets crapped on.
